Acting Pentagon chief: military is 'not going to leave until the border is secure'

Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan said Saturday that he intends to speed up plans to secure the border while visiting a Texas border city.

Shanahan also said Pentagon officials would remain at the border until it is secure, according to the Associated Press.

“We’re not going to leave until the border is secure,” he said. “This isn’t about identifying a problem. It’s about fixing a problem more quickly.”

    1. Claymores also. I've been in the middle of Mexico recently (two months in various locations)and the people are doing well. It's just the lazy ones who come here, I'm afraid. It ain't my Vietnam though and not by a long shot.

I believe the target date is. Always enjoy the pics you
take and put-up on your website.

    3. Thank you and although I took some pictures in Mexico, I just didn't feel all that impressed. I do love to camp in Baja though

  2. I've heard it reported that there are signs around the outer perimeter of "Area 51" which warn, "Deadly Force Authorized Beyond This Point". But then, that's just for us citizens. And some presidential contenders campaign on similar treatment for recalcitrant gun owners. Nevermind that "repel invasions" is a Constitutional duty of the U.S. Military.

  3. Area 51, I remember a video of a few motorcycle riders went into
Area 51; they were immediately surrounded by armed troops.
And they meant business. Send the invaders to Area 51.
