Trump: Mexico Will Send 6,000 Troops To Its Southern Border

As Cortney covered last night, President Donald J. Trump announced a last-minute deal with Mexico to crack down on illegal immigration following through their country into the United States, thus avoiding five percent tariffs on Mexican imports as the president previous threatened if the "humanitarian crisis" was not dealt with by the Mexican government. As part of that deal, President Trump announced via Twitter today that Mexico will indeed send six thousand troops to its southern border to deter illegal aliens.

  1. Yeah... they will be there to hand out water bottles and maps to the other border and maps to the stars when they cross and get their first welfare check and food stamps.

  2. "The United States SHALL guarantee to every State in this Union a republican form of government and SHALL protect each of them against Invasion..." (Article IV, Section 4, U.S. Constitution) Would that our pursuant immigration laws simply have the President to execute the law and NOT let the border be invaded by whatever means necessary. Prevent anyone from entering or apprehend tresspassers turn them back or incarcerate them for later deportation. Accordingly, as I have read reports, there are signs arund the secret U.S. Government installation, Area 51, which read: Deadly Force Authorized Beyond This Point. That is directed toward citizens, so why not apply the same equal treatment of the law to those who are invading our nation. I think we should even provide deferential treatment and put those signs in Spanish. --Ron W

  4. Will they have bullets for their weapons? Will our Troops have loaded weapons too? Will there be anymore border incidents like a couple of months ago with Mexican Troops on our side? Will we have an equal, or larger number, of trained soldiers on our side of the border? Will they have the authority to DEFEND OUR BORDER? Can we use the Progressive, Liberal Democrat Protesters as a buffer between the two armies?

Finally, WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

  5. Oh wait, headline says troops to it's (Mexico's) southern border. I am still in favor of the liberal protestors acting as a buffer though. :)
