North Carolina Chocolate Shop Incites Confederate Flag Burning

Via David

North Carolina chocolate shop is encouraging members of the public to burn the Confederate flag in response to a feud with a Sons of the Confederacy group.

Matthew Shepard, the owner of Matthew’s Chocolates in Hillsborough, North Carolina, claims to have been engaged in an ongoing dispute with a Sons of Confederate Veterans group. Shepard is unhappy that the group has been holding Confederate heritage events on the street outside of his shop, claiming that they’re there almost every Saturday.

  1. In GA the politicians decided to abandon the Stars and Bars. much to the glee of the left wing. We now have the battle flag of Georgia with the the modification of the GA seal.

I wonder if the left will ever figure it out. Dumb-asses...

    1. The Battle Flag is gone but you basically have The First National )Stars & Bars)but with 13 stars Instead of 7) which could represent the 13 Confederate states and the addition of the state coat of arms.

  2. Matthew Shepard, huh? The owner has co-opted a name to send the message to the homos that he's alright, he's on their side.

I would show up with ten rainbow flags to burn. Then when he denied service, either because of the wrong flag or one per customer, I would sue him. Hus sign does not specify the terms.

His sign does constitute the opening offer to a contract. My acceptance completes the contract. His attempts to counteroffer after the fact constitutes breach by which I can then task him with making me whole. I would use the funds thereby gotten to buy flags of the Confederacy.

  3. Which one? The Stars and Bars or the one Betsy Ross made?

After all, both groups sought freedom from oppression, tyranny, and draconian taxes and were called 'rebels' for doing so.

    Y'all have a nice day.

The Cannon book is the best on all the flags.
