President Donald Trump led a United Nations event promoting religious freedom on Monday, reminding world leaders that all rights came from God.
“The United States is founded on the principle that our rights do not come from government they come from God,” he said. “This immortal truth is proclaimed in our Declaration of Independence and enshrined in the first amendment to our Constitution’s Bill of Rights.”Trump noted that 80 percent of the world’s population live in countries where religious freedom is in danger or outright banned, and called for the world to end religious persecution and release prisoners held for professing their belief.

President Trump's statement today reminds me of this one:
ReplyDelete"And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe--the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God. We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first Revolution."

ReplyDeleteG. Edward Griffin on what the gov, for a lack of a better term
at this time, is required to do and they are not doing it.
Their asses belong on the Southern border and according to Refugee
Resettlement, Ann Cochran, the black Africans are demanding
Mexico to let them into these United States, creating chaos,
as usual. So what is this illustrious gov to do? Their job is
to keep them out.
Thanks. https://freenorthcarolina.blogspot.com/2019/09/g-edward-griffin-on-primal-nature-of.html#comment-form
