The White House on Friday issued a proclamation that would halt migrant entry into the U.S. if the person is pursuing a visa and "will financially burden the United States healthcare system."

Migrants will be considered people who will burden the system if they are not covered by approved health insurance within 30 days of entering the country unless they have enough money to "pay for reasonably foreseeable medical costs."

  2. That in a stroke just ended all legal immigration except for wealthy euro-celebrities. Now get that wall built and start up the mass deportations to fix the illegal ones.

I don't know why. When you sponsor a relative you have to be responsible for them not using goverment assistance for 10 years, which is the way it should be.

    2. Except it's totally unenforceable. Having to come in with funds up front prevents the emergency room from becoming every immigrants health insurance.

It happened to one person I know and I'm sure there are others as my experience is with Vietnamese who go to work right away.

    4. You know someone who was been expelled from the country for not paying his hospital bills?
