Maybe they read it. And perhaps the Declaration of Indpendence which states the principles upon which the Constitution and Bill of Rights are premised.
I've noticed that when Speaker Pelosi says they are "protecting our Constitution", "the rule of law" and "no one is above the law", she NEVER cites a word or phrase from the Constitution. But that's true of President Trump as well. I've considered mailing him a copy of "The Citizens Rulebook" pocket Constitution which includes the Declaration and even the Preamble to the Bill of Rights, so he could cite passages from it in his tweets. I think we should mandate that ALL elected officials should have to submit a legible copy in their own handwriting of those documents do that we can ascertain that they have read that to which they take an oath at least once! --Ron W

Dang, Even the French Aristocracy Understood what the U.S. Constitution meant to HUMANKIND.
