Good luck dorkhead. Does this mean AK's are OK? :)
Gov. Ralph Northam (D) announced Monday his
“assault weapons” ban will mean AR-15 owners can either register their
guns with the government or hand them over.
The
Virginia Mercury reported Northam
spokeswoman Alena Yarmosky used a statement to say, “The governor’s
assault weapons ban will include a grandfather clause for individuals
who already own assault weapons, with the requirement they register
their weapons before the end of a designated grace period.”
How will they know who's got those evil black plastic guns?
ReplyDeleteWill the FBI let them go over their copies of background checks?
Or will the .GOV thugs be going over FFL logs with a fine toothed comb?
Major problem even thinking of enforcing this. How are you? Haven't heard from you for awhile.

DeleteI had to look it up. :) Good luck and sorry to hear it.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. --4th Amendment
ReplyDeleteMandatory registration of a legally owned personal security EFFECT is carried out by an UNREASONABLE SEARCH by forcing a person to declare those effects to the government and that is a VIOLATION of the 5th Amendment. It is ILLEGAL for the government to have that information and compelling it by force is a CRIMINAL ACT!!

Agreed.
DeleteNo wonder such laws are supported by a governor who supports allowing a child to die after birth, that is, "Our Posterity" for whom with Ourselves, the Constitution was ordained "to secure the Blessings of Liberty." Virginia is dealing with "wickedness in high places". --Ron W
DeleteBetter get their s--- straight.
Deleteare the present politicians in Va. of the same mind on euthanasia as they are on abortion? can they see any difference between the two ideas? just that one is working backwards from the other? perhaps eliminating those on SSA from the population would make more free stuff and money available for the younger survivors of abortion minded almostmothers? David Codrea remarks, “So not being able to buy new ones and having to register old ones is being presented as a “win”?”

Who's presenting it as a win?
