Social-distancing guidelines to stay 6 feet from others may be
woefully inadequate, one scientist warns — saying the coronavirus could
travel 27 feet and linger for hours.
MIT associate professor Lydia Bourouiba, who has researched the
dynamics of coughs and sneezes for years, warns in newly published
research that the current guidelines are based on outdated models from
the 1930s.
Rather than the assumed safety of 6 foot, Bourouiba warns that
“pathogen-bearing droplets of all sizes can travel 23 to 27 feet.”
I always knew the 6 feet thing was nothing but a guess. Not 5 feet. Not 7 feet, but 6 feet. And everyone ran out putting tape on their floors as if it would save lives. All we really know is, stay away from other people, limit contact, and the farther away and the less touching of things other people touched, the better. Also, if you are pretty healthy, you'll probably get over it just fine.

DeleteNotice the healthcare experts NEVER tell us how to be healthy or strengthen our immune systems. That tells me they don't care about our health, but just to control our lives to manage a medical crisis. --Ron W
