A Montana county is mandating citizens to wear a pink wrist band to go shopping at grocery stores.
The band represents the person has quarantined for 14 days.
You know who else had armbands?
Whaaatt! @pnjaban, have you seen this?
Montana Co. won't allow you to do business without a pink wristband! I recall Germany forcing Jews to wear a yellow Star of David on their clothing so they'd be easily identified and summarily discriminated against.

DeleteAs with everything this is a test run. Does it work in rural Montana? If no, scrap it and try later or try something else. If yes, try somewhere larger. Nothing occurs in a vacuum.
ReplyDeleteOh HELL No. I had to wear a face mask today for a medical consult and due back in two weeks for a follow up. I told them if this silliness is not resolved by then I will not wear a mask at my second appointment. I also told them I would pursue medical malpractice lawsuit if the denied me. I have a goatee that has been on my face for forty years and is not gonna get shaved off. A regular mask will not work with facial hair. There are mask available for beard wearers and they would have to order and supply them to me. I used that special mask when I worked as a nurse.
ReplyDeleteThe V.A.?
DeleteNo, a private hospital clinic. The Nurse treating said the hospital told all of their personal that had beards or facial hair to shave it off so they could wear standard masks. The clinic was in Washington State so that is one of the problems.

DeleteFor sure.
I thought Montana was a pro-Liberty State. But then, this is one county. --Ron W
