Interesting...back from VN in Oct 68 and served in the 82nd at Ft Bragg. In Feb 69 we made a trek from Ft Bragg to Alaska to Okinawa and then jumped into Korea somewhere along the Han? river. Cold and windy and jump was delayed one day at Okinawa due to a snowstorm. The Army I was in never seemed to be able to locate decent weather between hot as hell and then cold as hell.

Never fails. :) ================ I went to basic at Ft. Bragg in 1966. I enlisted in Richmond and was sent on a bus. We approached the gate at sunrise and as I looked at the sign "Welcome to Ft Bragg, Home of the 82nd Airborne", I said to myself, what have you gotten yourself into this time, Brock. :)

I was in Korea From Jan '68 to Dec '69. Arrived in country 2 weeks before the USS Pueblo was taken. Interesting times.
