Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, champion of women's rights, has died at 87
"Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died this evening surrounded
by her family at her home in Washington, D.C., due to complications of
metastatic pancreas cancer," the Court said in a statement.
Yes, Unknown, she voted to deny women, and all of us, the right to keep and carry the means to protect their bodies against the robber, the rapist and the murderer. Seems to me, that's about as anti-woman as one void be. --Ron W
Cue Ted Cruz for the USSC nominee. We need it done before the election. otherwise if/when we go into a contested election and a 4:4 Supreme Court will not be good. Perhaps that was their plan all along. It has been widely rumored that they might kill one of their own to change the news cycle. RBG and Jimmy Carter were supposedly the top two picks. They sure needed something, and now Presto Changeo, well what do you know...
& it doesn't even affect them. Weird, but that's a liberal for you and reminds me of:
11. "By Yankee I do not mean everybody from north of the Potomac and Ohio...... I am using the term historically to designate that peculiar ethnic group descended from New Englanders, who can be easily recognized by their arrogance, hypocrisy, greed, lack of congeniality, and penchant for ordering other people around."
An excellent description. The twits here have the pathetic habit of waiting for some left wing absurdity to get enacted in the US and they try to do one better.
Listening to the media frenzy over Ginsburg’s passing, you’d think that Jesus, Elvis, and Gandhi had all just died at the same time, and not Ginsburg.
Why are they celebrating the life of Ginsburg, a Jewish leftist and former ACLU lawyer? She was one of those “progressive” fools who believe that the U.S. constitution is “a living document” — which is ridiculous. The idea that the constitution can be bent, twisted, shaped and stretched over the years to fit any situation is not only stupid but very dangerous. (Ginsburg’s fellow bud on the high court, Justice Louis Brandeis, was a big believer in the “constitution is a living document” nonsense, as early as 1928; see Brandeis’ dissent in Olmstead v. US [1928]. . Look at the Roe v. Wade ruling [1973]. It wasn’t even based on constitutional law!).
One “conservative” TV pundit (a male) said that Donald Trump must pick a woman to replace Ginsburg on the court. Must! Yeah, suuure, let’s feminize the court even more than it has already been feminized. Others have joined in his calling for a woman only to replace her; that is Affirmation Action for the high court, and it’s very wrong. Women have been the worst Supreme Court justices.
To barrow from Mark Twain: I will be unable to attend her funeral but I will write a very nice letter heartily approving of it. But one ought not to speak ill of the dead. RBG is dead. GOOD!
As mentioned on 'The Burning Platform', "who knows when she really died." I thought about that myself. As crocked as this gov is, who really knows. When the gov puts poison into alcohol on purpose and kills ten thousand people, they'll do anything.
To be factual she was a champion of born, liberal women's rights. Conservative and unborn females were not on her radar
ReplyDeleteThanks.

DeleteI can't understand why the lefties are so upset over her death. After all, she was just a clump of cells.
ReplyDeleteWe have numerous fools in Canada moaning and bawling over this, you cannot imagine how easy it is to goad them into a frothing rage.

There are few who I trust today. :(
