Wisconsin Legislature Announces Resolution To Be Introduced on Thursday Which Will Likely Decertify State and Award to President Trump
A day late a dollar short?
The state of Wisconsin has reportedly announced that it will introduce a resolution on Thursday morning to decertify the state’s electoral college votes and award them to President Trump.
Introducing a "resolution" doesn't do jack. Such feel good wastes of time are not legally binding. A "resolution" in a legislature is a statement of intent or belief. NOT A LAW. As such it has no power to compel. This is just more legal grandstanding.
too bad they couldn't see fit to do this when it might have mattered. At this point, I see this as just posturing for the next campaign, not actually doing anything substantive.

ReplyDeleteMay well be as I don't believe I've used this since I worked on the farm. :) Just searched and found they are both used. Thanks.
