.......their leader, Medal of Honor winner Drew Dix, years later confided to friends that the operation was a reality. Duong, called ``Nago' by his friends, and other South Vietnamese who fought with Dix were flown by the Army to an island off the coast of Vietnam to save them from execution by the Viet Cong. They were taken to Guam after the collapse of their country.

Fifteen years after fighting with the U.S. Army in Vietnam and leaving his family behind, Ngo Nhat Duong was reunited with his wife and youngest daughter in a tearful celebration this week.

``We've been trying for 15 years to reunite Nago with his family,' Fayetteville attorney Bobby Deaver said. ``But the Vietnamese government resisted all efforts until a few weeks ago, when they finally agreed to give (Duong's) wife and his youngest daughter travel visas.'The daughter, now 20, was 5 years old when her father left Vietnam to avoid being executed. The other daughter died while Duong was in the United States.
