ReplyDeleteWell, to be perfectly fair, it's unlikely that the Taliban, an Islamic radical sect, would honor a peace deal with "unbelievers." After all, the Koran itself tells Muslims that they have no duty to be truthful to non-Muslims. But why are we leaving all that ordnance and materiel behind? Don't the planes that brought it there work any more?
Thanks and I read somewhere it was cheaper to leave them than to take them back but seems implausible to me.

Can't find back up now but I was told if convicted of a capital offense before 1975 in SVN, you got one appeal which was decided in 24 hours and if held up, you got a cigarette, bowl of Pho, paper and pencil the next morning, then shot to death and the family had to pay for the bullets.
Oh,I believe that is was intentional, to just leave the stuff.

I'm thinking some of them boys might like to fly some good ole carpet bombing runs, and blow the SCHIFFT out of them there weapons, MRAPs, DRONES and Hummers. Line them BUFFs up at 60,000 Feet, 10-12 birds about a mile apart, each packing 105, 500lb bombs, and make their world ROCK!! Do that for about a week, at all hours of the day and night, just to make sure they know that somebody is Really Pissed Off. Then send in the A-10 Wart hogs, Cobra's and AC-130 Spookies to mop up any stragglers. P.S. Issue every crew chief a case of SPAM, to be used as a pork flavored coating on every bomb, bullet, and rocket. Advertise the crap out of it with a video showing someone slathering the ordinance as it's loaded onto the aircraft. Let's show these Damn Dirty COMMIE DEMS, and these SCHIFFT For Brains Tali-whackers, Terrorists, and WANNA-Be Troublemakers how real videos can stir up some serious SCHIFFT! I say STOP DICKING AROUND!! They were given a chance to do what's Right. SCORCHED EARTH is still Effective, even better with just a hint of fried pork products for ambiance. Cheers!
