    1. I haven't heard. What's up? I've only come here before but I love Baja. The area on the way to the Blow Hole but too cold there now. Used to camp there a month at a time. Bought Lobster off the small boats in the morning and fish in the afternoon.Lobster in the morning can't be beat!

  2. Currently, Tijuana is one of the most dangerous in this country, where criminal gangs fight to control drug and human trafficking routes into the United States.

The death of Martinez has been rejected by organizations such as the Baja California's Human Rights Commission, which recently declared that any attack on journalists constitutes an attack on freedom of expression and the right of society to be informed.
A popular journalist known as "4X"4 shot several times. The
    head shot killed him.

    1. Thanks.
I've spent some nights there and all I want to do is stop for a taco with a XX beer and walk a few more block and repeat until I'm full. :)

  3. Brock, do you like the place you're staying at now better then
the one from last year? Any hassle over your vaccine status?
Are the natives succumbing to masks?

    1. Beside the times I have spent in Ajijic, (search links below) I have just stayed at the Hotel Isabel. (Links second below.) Both places have their ups and downs. Hotel Isabel I liked very much as I put my desk right by the bird cages and listened to them sing but it didn't have a microwave, refrigerator,(House size) toaster oven oven which the one this year has. Both have A/C as I don't stay if it doesn't. If I had to choose Ajijic or Guadalajara, I would pick the former. No mention of shots at all and they wear masks about as much as we do which is 50% I would say. Come on down! :) I'll take pictures of my room for the next post. Thanks.

    2. I'm sure I have asked you this many times, but where do you live! :)

    3. I remember the birds and the bird cages. If folks go to
Ajijic to retire and forget to die then there must be
something inviting and I would assume safe. Colorful and
      old - I like old.

    4. I live in Madison Cnty, North Carolina. A long drive to
Mexico. Living in California back in the 50's and 60's
would have been cool - just drive into Mexico and pick
your poison. That would have been fun. Drug Cartel and
the gov, ( take your choice which one ) screwed that up.

    5. I was only one hour away from TJ in Orange and San Diego counties and although the prices vary, we two flew to Guadalajara R/T for $200. (Driving across the border after leaving the car at the parking lot at the TJ airport" You could fly R/T out of Greensboro for $396.)

    6. It is a consideration. When you flew recently, did you
have a problem with TSA and the fly virus credentials?
Being a free spirit again would be revitalizing.

    8. Yes and all you do is show your passport and ticket to get onboard and there is a short Mexican questioner to fill out on the way. Mexico had the border closed quite awhile but you could always fly there. I asked Fred of Fred on Everything why and he didnlt know the answer also. Video reminds me of Florida.
