Have you seen any of the remarks the mullah in chief made after pulling himself away from golf course for a moment to comment on the Islamic ritual slaughter of journalist James Foley? Obama took this savage act of war and proselytized, lied for Islam.  The Islamic State is true Islam. Pure Islam.

The above tweet is a complete falsehood. Islamic jihad commands the non-believer be slaughtered. It is a religious imperative. The war against the Jews is Islamic. The murder of one million Christians murdered and expelled from Iraq is Islamic. The mass slaughter of Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, is commanded in the quran. The Muslims that Obama refers to in this tweet are Shia Muslims. Sunni Muslim kill Shia Muslims because they do not consider them true Muslims, real Muslims More on that here). And his kill ratio is wrong. Muslims kill far more Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Zoroastrians, Chinese, Pagans etc

Indicted Gov. Rick Perry loses his concealed carry permit

 

Texas Gov. Rick Perry lost his right to carry a concealed firearm after being indicted Friday on two felony counts of abuse of power.

While under his indictment, Perry is not allowed to carry a concealed firearm in a public place, and according to federal law 18 USC 922(n), he’s also legally prohibited from buying guns and ammunition, Austin American-Statesman reports.

An Algiers, Louisiana couple were unwinding on their back patio about 10:00 PM Wednesday night when a man in a mask emerged with a gun in his hand, demanded money, and forced them inside.

While details of precisely what went on inside are still sketchy, that the husband was able to obtain one of his firearms and use it effectively is not in doubt.

An Algiers man, 28, and his 36-year-old wife were on their backyard patio around 10 p.m. when a 25-year-old gunman, his face covered in a mask, walked up and demanded they give him money, police said.

The gunman ordered the couple into their home in the 1800 block of West Homestead Drive, where the couple’s three young children – ages 6, 13 and 14 – were inside, police said.

At some point the husband was able to retrieve his gun, police said, and fatally shot the gunman, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Virginia Flaggers Call To Action - Flagging W&L Saturday, August 23rd

In our update yesterday, we let everyone know that we would be flagging Washington & Lee tomorrow, Saturday, August 23rd, along with several other upcoming dates.

There is a local resident who has been regularly flagging W&L, almost since the news broke of the desecration of the LEE Chapel.  He contacted us today with the following exciting information:

Tomorrow is a G R E A T day for flagging here! Woo-hoo!

Not ONLY is it VMI's matriculation day, BUT the City is closing the downtown intersections, which will double the traffic on Jefferson and run EVERYBODY right by you.

There's MORE!

 

 From 9am to 3pm they're having the Rockbridge Festival in the downtown, bringing MORE visitors. We need maximum flagging and you might again bump up the flyers, etc. Could be epic, weather permitting. Wanted to be sure you had the heads' up."

WHAT THIS MEANS:  Tomorrow, the city of Lexington will be PACKED to overflowing with students moving into VMI along with their parents, siblings, and grandparents...AND street closures will force almost ALL traffic to flow beside the location where our Flaggers will stand...AND a festival downtown will mean THOUSANDS of local residents and tourists will be in the city, as well!

Communists Descend on Ferguson

I’ve stayed out of the Ferguson controversy. These racial conflagrations are awful, and I learned long ago that any conservative who wades in, even with the best intentions, is eviscerated by the political left. Liberals have decided that all conservatives in their ideological universe need to be racists, and they passionately resist letting anything convince them otherwise.

I don’t know enough to know who, exactly, is to blame in Ferguson. That said, here is something I do know, and that I think would benefit readers as they assess the growing animosities in Missouri:

I’ve long studied the antics of the American Communist Party, from literally the very beginning. I’ve sat in archives and stared at the first documents that American communists excitedly sent from their offices at 1219 Blue Island Avenue in Chicago to Soviet Comintern headquarters in Moscow. I’ve spent hundreds of hours reading old copies of the Soviet-funded and Soviet-directed Daily Worker. I’ve read countless memoirs by communists who joined the Party, ran it, or even spied for Moscow. I daily check the websites of Communist Party groups.

All of that is background to this fact -- well-known to anyone who has carefully watched the Communist Party: Communists have long vigorously targeted black Americans for their causes and interests.
