Ron Paul: Tea Party Activists Similar To Egyptian Protesters

Asked by CNN if he would prod the Tea Party movement to "do more" to push for spending cuts, Paul said that would do no good.

"Nobody controls the Tea Party people. They're restless," he said. "It's sort of like looking at those people who finally rebelled in Egypt and saying, OK, what is the consensus on what you want?"

    Every once in a while Ron gets one right... He's dead nuts on about that.... (He's dead nuts right on a couple other things too)

    We tea party folks are just a thorn in the side of the status quo folks. Like the patriot act, the spending, the over reaching same ol same ol politicians... they don't like us...
