According to"urban dictionary", "off the ranch" is defined as "better than 'off the hook' but not as good as 'off the treble.'
"off the hook" is defined as follows: "'Off the hook' is actually a modernization of a series of slang words. Closely related to 'off the chain', there referring to something being so 'fresh' and 'new' that its literally right off the store shelf. (started in reference to clothes, the hangar being the 'hook')"
"off the treble" is defined as "three times as good as 'off the hook'."
Bottom line: I don't think he meant what YOU think he meant!
West its an honorable man. West is CERTAINLY capable of denigrating people he doesn't like - did you have ANY questions about how he felt about others? West has in the past spoken very favorably about Paul. Leftard media OTOH has a major mission - to ruined as many Republitards as possible.
Given what we know, which its more plausible:
(1) West was badmouthing Paul and the leftard-media report is accurate...
Or...
(2) West was complimenting Paul and leftard media took advantage of the situation to damage two Republitard candidates in one swoop...
No brainer, IMHO...
Show me a negative definition for "off the ranch" (published BEFORE the linked smear... Er... I mean "news item"...) And I'll change my opinion...
Why?
ReplyDeleteAllen West: Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) “off the ranch.”

IOW Urban Dictionary seems to say that "off the ranch" is essentially twice as good as "off the hook"...
ReplyDelete"Yo, that freestyle was off the ranch"
ReplyDeleteIn this context, I would think it meant something great. Damn, if I know.:)
