Do I have permission for straight talk tonight? Because I have this other version I can do. Are you sure?
About a year back the Republican Party was dealt a major set back
with election losses. We were told by the media, including many
Republican and allegedly “conservative” commentators, as well as a
report paid for from the National Republican Party that the party, we
here, needed to do a better job appealing to various “minority” lobbies,
and move away from conservative, or Tea Party positions.
I found it odd, not that the Mainstream Media would offer Republicans
terrible advice, but just how ridiculous the advice was. The Republican
Party had electoral success in 2010, but not in 2012, after all.
What happened? The top of the ticket featured two TARP Wall
Street bailout supporters; two Amnesty supporters; two supporters of
Obama’s policy to wage war indefinitely inAfghanistan. In the third
Presidential debate, Mitt Romney endorsed Obama’s policy of working with
radical jihadist elements in Egypt, Libya and now Syria.
Let me talk about Syria just for a moment. The present regime
protects a small, minority Christian population. In a Syrian church,
there is to this day, the earliest known inscription regarding the man
who you might know as Saint George, the one who slew the dragon a tale
your father or mother might have told you as a child; the patron saint
of England. Ask yourself, will this church survive if the rebels take
over?
Do we really need to ask ourselves, in this room, why Romney lost?
