Earlier in the day George Will shared his opinion on the illegal alien crisis now reaching a community near you. Like Glenn Beck, Dana Loesch, Bill O’Reilly and a host of ridiculously naïve “conservative” pundits, George Will advances the false narrative of “Unaccompanied Children” and generalizes the illegal swarm by claiming they are 8-year-olds with ‘teddy bears’.

That particular Village Idiot has never been to Central America,or he would know that nothing has changed for those kids in two hundred years. I know personally that nothing has changed since 73. So? Where does he get off stating they suddenly merit refugee status?
ReplyDeleteI was wondering yesterday if he and Beck are being paid off.
DeleteI started to say this last night and didn't but now as I sit here listening to Beck's radio show as I do every day I have to say it.
ReplyDeleteYou guys way wrong about Beck. Is he a bit of wimp? Yes and he'll admit it but he is just as much against the illegals pouring across the border as any of us are and he's just as much for securing the border. Then, you say, why is he down there helping the illegals? He's doing it because he is religious and compassionate and he wants to help the ones that are innocent children. Also, he's playing chess where a lot of us are playing checkers. Ok, what do I mean by that? He's a libertarian and he believes that people should take care of their own problems and not rely on the government so he's collecting money from private sources and trying to help care for those kids that are being detained without anyone to care for them. He'd send them back in a minute
but not without giving them a warm meal and some sort of comfort along the way.
I think the problem Beck has is that most folks who criticize him don't actually hear him. What they hear is what Alex Jones and Michael Savage say about him. Beck's charity was the first to deliver aid and help to New Jersey after the hurricane. He was there long before the Red Cross and FEMA showed up. The same goes for several towns hit by tornadoes and he's doing the same thing down on the border because the burden of caring for these illegals has been dumped on the churches and the counties and towns and they are overwhelmed. What he's trying to say in all of those places and circumstances is a message to the federal government. "DONT COME HERE, WE'VE GOT THIS. WE DON'T NEED YOUR MONEY OR THE STRINGS ATTACHED TO IT"
I'm sitting here now listening to him trash George Will over what Will said on TV while this article is trying to tie him to Will. Guys it's just not right. Beck is on our side. No he doesn't agree with us on every point and I'm not sure I'd want him for my wing man in a fire fight. In fact I'm pretty sure I wouldn't but the man loves this country and the constitution and he despises the federal government, both parties, just like most of us do.
I'm not asking you to take my word for it. Just listen to him and don't turn him off every time he says something that doesn't quite suit your views. You'll soon find he is on our side.
Now as for Dana Loesch? She'd kick my ass and half the guys on this list along with me. She's as hard core as they come. Guys they are playing chess while most of us play checkers. Part of the reason they went down there to the border and took stuff was so they could get in the door and get a better look at what is going on. They are aware that they didn't see the whole story but they are trying to gather the facts to bring down the corrupt people in our government. They didn't have to go along. If all they wanted to do was send stuff and help the illegals they could have done that without going along personally and getting their hands dirty.
As for George Will, Bill O'Rielly and the rest of Fox News I'm about through with all of them. If you can get it, check out News Max TV. It just went on the air a few weeks ago. I get it on Dish Network channel 223. They are running on a low budget and it shows but they are reporting the news.

Thanks and I don't watch TV or listen to news on the radio. I liked Beck until I found out he was a Tyrant Lincoln lover which proved to me that he wadisingenuous at best considering his relationship with the judge.
DeleteBrock I agree with you about Lincoln and his whole attitude about the south. He get's that crap from David Barton and I guess they both believe it. They were both born in a different time and place so I guess they don't know any better. It's time they learned. Still he's on our side 90% of the time.

Thanks. I can't imagine him not agreeing with The Judge.
Deletecontinued. I don't think disingenuous is the right word for Beck. Remember that until about 10 years ago he was a self centered alcoholic on the verge of suicide. His opinions are based on what he has seen and learned in the past decade, since he started paying attention. At least that is how I see it. Maybe he has me fooled.
ReplyDeleteThe point is that those of us on the right tend to squabble among ourselves over minor issues and loose site of the goal while the other side makes a plan and moves the ball forward, keeping their squabbles hidden behind closed doors. If every republican who voted for John McCain had come out and voted for Mitt Romney this nightmare would be over now but because Romney wasn't ideologically pure enough for them, the deciding votes stayed home. I detest McCain and don't have a lot of use for Romney but either are better that Obama so I held my nose and voted for them. It's like in the old days when a guy would come through town with an ape in a cage and he'd let the town tough guys get in there and try to whip the ape. It's easy to stand out on the street and claim you can whip the ape but until you get in the cage you'll never know. We have to get back in the cage, by hook or by crook and then try to whip the ape once we get in there. The other side knows that.

Unfortunately, I don't see this coming to a peaceful, happy ending.
