Goodness, what formidable foes we face.......:)
The NRA remains one of the most formidable forces in American political life. But it is not bulletproof. Since the massacres in Aurora and Newtown, states from New York and Maryland to Colorado and California have made modest progress against the gun lobby, passing a raft of new laws aimed at reducing gun violence. There are sharp lessons to be learned from these victories, and even more important ones to be gleaned from the playbook of the NRA itself. The seven strategies below can empower gun-control advocates to stop bemoaning their helplessness, and start carrying the day.
More @ Rolling Stone
Photo says it all...a bunch of nosey, meddling, clueless old hags of have way too much free time on their hands. To them I say: FOAD! I don't give a damn what you think and never will. It will be a cold day in hell before they ever tell me what to do.
ReplyDeleteSame goes for Rolling Stone, a worthless rag who's time has long since past. I have zero interest in drugs and never will. Have zero interest in pop music; a waste land since the beginnngs of the 2000. I will celebrate the day Rolling Stoned goes out of business. A gaggle of idiots, both of them.
:) !
DeleteBTW, took a second look at the old hag holding the NRA sign. She has that blank look on her face of; lights are on, but nobody is home. Moral of this story: Kids, you have to make sure that mom/grandma is taking her meds like she is supposed to.
Delete:) She must have taken her dose of Obama kool-aid before she came.
DeleteImagine if these people really gave a rat's ass about our country. They would be wanting our gun rights and would be storming the whitehouse
ReplyDeleteImagine, indeed.
DeleteThey don't seem to realize that the NRA is the brake, not the drive. The NRA is willing to compromise, the rest of us are not.
ReplyDeletethe NRA is the brake, not the drive
DeleteGood point.
