We're on the Sound across the bridge from the Southern Outer Banks and it's only calling for 15 to 25 MPH SE winds with 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms on Thursday with better weather on Friday. We were planning on going to the Marlin's baseball game Thursday night, but might be better off going tomorrow.

A tropical depression off the coast of Florida is
forecast to grow into Hurricane Arthur and strike North Carolina’s Outer
Banks during the Fourth of July holiday.
“For vacationers going out there to the Outer Banks, they will have some concerns and will have to watch this,” said Paul Walker, a meteorologist with AccuWeather Inc. in State College, Pennsylvania.
