Yep. nothing to see here. he just magically gets the number of votes he needs and all senators with excess votes get to claim moral superiority to their hometown voters.
ReplyDeleteRepulsive.
DeleteDang, Only three Texans voted to dump Boehner and one of them was Gohmert voting for himself. We've got more TEA Party than that. What dark corner are they hiding in? Why did we vote in November, only to be saddled with Obama's Crybaby again.
ReplyDeleteWhy did we vote in November, only to be saddled with Obama's Crybaby again.
DeleteInsane.
I was just thinking the same thing. Why did I bother. It looks like the same old crap all over again.
DeleteHas to end.
Deletethe end of the independent Republican Party. Now it is rightfully called the Democratic-Lite Party. I wonder how much support they will still have in 6 months?
ReplyDeleteNone would be fine with me.
DeleteWe are really living in dangerous times when the country can't get rid of a bi-polar
ReplyDeletedisorder. Watch out for suicide by antipsychotics.
the country can't get rid of a bi-polar disorder.
DeleteReally.
Was the weather bad down in South Carolina - read that Trey Gowdy missed his plane due to bad weather, so he didn't get to vote. Either way, he said he would have voted for Boehner. Nauseating. All so that he can spin his wheels on yet another special House Committee investigating Govt. corruption/incompetence/whatevuh that will go nowhere and do nothing....
ReplyDeleteEither way, he said he would have voted for Boehner.
DeleteUnbelievable. Braindead.
Yup. Thom Tillis - nowhere on that list.
ReplyDeleteI knew he was a fucking tool. He was on the radio here in NC just the other day promising he'd not vote for boner. I'm assuming there's no such as as abstaining a vote for a speaker, right?
He's a neocon, but Trey Gowdy is something else.
DeleteI want my vote back... super pissed at him for not showing a spine.
DeleteTillis could have voted 'Present' and not cast for any person, don't know - anyone who didn't show up for the vote lowered the denominator, hence increasing the need for more dissenters than the 29. Politics over the survival of our country took another big downturn today.
ReplyDeleteHard to believe it can get worst, but...................
DeleteInteresting that there were none from Georgia. I keep saying that North Carolina is the Massachusetts of Dixie, but I may need to revise that. The GOP here are all Democrats ...
ReplyDeleteThe GOP here are all Democrats ...
DeleteStrange.
NC is by far worlds and away better than my home state of MA. MA has just about fully turned into where tyranny goes to flourish instead of liberty...
DeleteIs NC perfect? Nope. But it's trending the right way from what I'm reading and hearing from groups like GRNC, NRA-ILA, and other locally involved orgs.
Come on down! :)
