Faculty at Harvard University are complaining that they will have to
pay more for their health insurance under Obamacare, even though overall
costs to faculty remain modest and employees of the Ivy League school
tend to support President Obama.
Members of Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences voted in November
against changes to their insurance policies which would require them to
pay more for coverage due to Obamacare, The New York Times reports.
But the vote was too late to stop cost increases from taking effect this month, leading to an uproar among some faculty.
Richard Thomas, a classics professor, told The Times the changes are
“deplorable, deeply regressive, a sign of the corporatization of the
university.”

Dear Harvard,
ReplyDeleteUs conservatives tried to tell y'all that if poor folks were going to get cut-rate insurance, then somebody has to pay the piper for cut-in-rate. Y'all being smart fellers [think dyslexic] for Obama you should have known not to believe anything Obama says. I guess MIT's Gruber is right, we're all stupid, including you.
all stupid, including you

"It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong."
ReplyDelete"It is amazing that people who think we cannot afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication somehow think that we can afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, medication and a government bureaucracy to administer it."
and a real good one:
"People who have time on their hands will inevitably waste the time of people who have work to do."

A good man.

DeleteAnother awesome graphic, Brock - Thanks for bringing Jackie back into my consciousness ;)
ReplyDelete:) What an entertainer. He used a private train to go up and down the eastern seaboard and once a reporter mentioned to him that he heard that there was a car which was solely for a bar and Jackie replied "Hell, the whole train is a bar!"
DeleteLiberal academics...absolutely the stupidest "smart" people on the planet.
