Evangelical Pastor Rafael Cruz, the father of Senator Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), said the Obama administration is “the most lawless administration” in U.S. history, where “the Constitution is trampled every day,” and further declared, "we are on the brink of the destruction" of America.

Speaking of trampling on the Constitution, Cruz does not qualify to run for
ReplyDeletepresident. And, wouldn't vote for him even if he did qualify. CFR buddies.
And, dear old dad up there was a communist revolutionary who fought with Castro.
ReplyDeleteToo bad Putin couldn't apply for US citizenship and then run for president. Can
one be a president of two countries and the same time. That would be new one.

DeleteIncorrect, he fought against the Communists in Cuba, was arrested there and tortured. He fled the island in 1957 at age 18.
Not according to this article. Obama's maternal grandfather was a
Deletecommunist also.
Below quoted from the article.
Delete"Rev. Cruz fought against the Communists in Cuba, was arrested there and tortured. He fled the island in 1957 at age 18. He eventually settled in Texas and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2005. His Dallas-based church also operates Christian ministries in Mexico and Central America. His wife, Eleanor Wilson Cruz, was born in Wilmington, Del."
He was arrested by Batista, the US backed dictator. Must have
Deletelied to get a VISA and had help getting a VISA.

Thanks for the link and he did come here in '57 and Castro took over two years later, but I haven't found another source yet to reveal who he was fighting against, as he obviously could have been fighting against either. If you find another link, I would appreciate you sending it to me. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteTried to find ones which were conservative.
Thanks and I'll be getting through this link and the others you sent later today. Some one else sent me some also. Reminds me of General Lee who once said something like you'll learn something new everyday until you die. Thanks again.
DeleteThis is the one I sent to my brother which started me on my path suspicion. My
ReplyDeletebrother liked/likes Cruz.
Sorry for lateness. Things unraveled a little in my space.

DeleteThere was a broad spectum of ideologies that fought in the revolution against Battista, including anticommunists: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuban_Revolution
ReplyDelete"On 13 March 1957, a separate group of revolutionaries – the anticommunist Student Revolutionary Directorate (Directorio Revolucionario Estudantil, DRE), composed mostly of students – stormed the Presidential Palace in Havana, attempting to assassinate Batista and decapitate the government. The attack ended in utter failure. The RD's leader, student José Antonio Echeverría, died in a shootout with Batista's forces at the Havana radio station he had seized to spread the news of Batista's anticipated death. The handful of survivors included Dr. Humberto Castello (who later became the Inspector General in the Escambray), Rolando Cubela and Faure Chomon (both later Commandantes of the 13 March Movement, centered in the Escambray Mountains of Las Villas Province).[31]"
Thanks and I'm just going to post two links.
DeleteThere was a broad spectrum of ideologies, including anticommunists that fought in the revolution to overthrow Battista.
ReplyDeleteYes and reading some more, there were people who were fooled as to Castro's leanings as we were with Ho Chi Minh at first.
