 NYC cop shot in Queens

A city cop was critically wounded by a cowardly ex-con who blasted two bullets into his head on a Queens street Saturday evening — the fifth NYPD officer to be shot in as many months.
Plainclothes officer Brian Moore, 25, was in a medically induced coma after surgery to relieve pressure on his brain, law-enforcement sources told The Post.

The suspected gunman, Demetrius Blackwell, was in custody Saturday night after allegedly firing at Moore as the cop approached in an unmarked police car.

  1. Now lets write on this occurrence from another point of view.

Today a citizen is being held against his will for having the temerity to defend himself from the unwanted attempt by state agents to kidnap him for having the temerity to exercise his fundamental inherent second amendment right. The state agent observed the citizen to have a 'sagging waistline in his pants' and suspected the citizen of exercising his 2A right. While approaching the citizen with the intent of
depriving him of his freedom the state agent was wounded by the citizen who was
acting in defense of his rights.

Different spin on the exact same incident.

The Second Amendment does not grant a right, it merely enumerates the right.
And NOWHERE in the Constitution is there a mechanism given to permanently
deprive a citizen of their rights for ANY reason. The practice of depriving felons of
their rights is not about safety. It's about control. Make EVERYONE a felon then
NOBODY has rights. THAT is the purpose of such practices.

As in the case of Freddie Gray these officers did not know who this man was. They had no idea what he may or may not have done in the past. But this man knew with
a certainty that people with badges can and do KILL WITH IMPUNITY....under those
circumstances his reaction while technically illegal can easily be argued as rational and even protected constitutionally.

If LEO don't want to be shot at they should give serious thought to LEAVING PEOPLE ALONE unless they SEE them committing a SERIOUS crime....a REAL
crime that harms someone.....not the fake revenue generating scams that exist
merely to enrich the state and harm the citizen. Unless they have good and proven
evidence that the person they seek to interact with is indeed a REAL criminal and
not a state created one then maybe they should sit still and behave. 90% of the
'crimes' that LEO arrest people for are malum prohibidum.....crimes for which there is
no injured party, crimes the state uses to control people with and to steal money from them in the form of 'fines'.

    1. I'm sure he would if he thought he could get good press about, but considering his previous actions, he would be chastised, I believe. Just another worthless commie.

  3. I feel for the policeman and his family. Blacks are unpredictable. That's what
makes them so dangerous. That's why police approach them the way they do -
with extreme caution. Make sure you are prepared and you will survive.
Approach these types like your life depends on it. I thought I had read Moore
was doing a little better. God speed.

This is what I found on Yahoo one hour old.

Moore remained hospitalized in critical but stable condition after hours of surgery for what court papers described as "severe injuries to his skull and brain."
