Ron Paul - On the Police State
Some parts of the latest propaganda video of ISIS published today
shows ISIS using U.S. TOW anti-tank missiles during the capture of the
Syrian town of Palmyra last month.
Abu Malik Tamimi, the ISIS commander in the video, addresses his
fellow terrorists in Arabic, while showing ISIS using Tanks, Rocket
launchers, Howitzers and other heavy weaponry in their attack on the
town.
The TOW makes its debut appearance in the video. Presumably, most of
these weapons have been obtained by ISIS in their victories against
U.S.-backed so-called “Moderate rebels” of Syrian terrorist groups.
It is clear that the capture and use of the CIA-provided TOW missiles by Jabhat al-Nusra are also in the hands of ISIS.
Additionally, it is also clear that both Al-Qaeda and ISIS are using
TOW missiles that have been provided to U.S.-backed “so-called
moderate” groups.
So the same FeddotGov that is arming this mythical thing called a "moderate" muslim, or not-so moderate, such as ISIS, wants to disarm its' own citizens. The other guy can have military weaponry but the average American should NOT have firearms that look military by design.
ReplyDeleteI'd say, draw your own conclusions on this one.
Hypocrisy, thy name is Liberal.
DeleteI think I may be forgiven for asking "When does the insanity stop?"
ReplyDeleteWhen the people reporting to me in the Smokeless Propellant Department at Radford Army Ammunition Plant in 1960 (about) were making TOW rocket grains I told them that they were for our troops use. I have been betrayed again.
:( I guess Obama considers ISIS "our troops" since he is PINO and one of them.
DeleteCalm down. This is all part of Obama's master plan. We are going to take ISIS to the cleaners when they start ordering spare parts for all those vehicles. It was bankrupting Iraq to maintain them all and we were giving them a lot of it. That hot environment is hell on tires and batteries. That alone will cost ISIS billions.
ReplyDeleteTOW missiles use solid rockets, not "grains". And they are 70's technology. ISIS can't reproduce them or buy more. Nor are they likely to hit anything with their first few tries. TOW missile guidance is not as easy as it looks. I saw a paper from back in the 70's that outright claimed the US Army should not train black men to be TOW gunners because they lacked the intelligence to make good gunners. Of course, that was total B.S. They had some math errors in their testing.
And of course, no one will ever try to tie Hillary to how those TOWs got there.
Grain applies to propellant all the way from a flake of Bullseye to the large item loaded into an Improved Honest John rocket but not to rocket motors that are cast in the case. A myriad of solid rockets were loaded with "grains," both extruded and cast.
DeleteI never fired a TOW but I made a bunch. We test fired them, of course, but I always wanted to see in person that wire play out all the way to the targeted tank as the operator followed a moving target with his sight. An intriguing weapon system.
If you see a guy in black coming at you with a wire stringing out of his butt it will be ISIS's Improved TOW. Get in a hole. Heh.
