Russian President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday that Turkey’s decision to shoot down a Russian warplane near Turkey's border with Syria is a "stab in the back" and it would have “significant consequences” for its relations with Turkey, as NATO called an emergency meeting over the incident.
Putin said the Russian Sukhoi-24 jet was shot by a missile from a Turkish jet over Syria about just over a half-mile away from the Turkish border, which he described as a "stab in the back by the terrorists' accomplices." Turkey said it warned the jet several times that it was in its airspace.

As if Turkey did that on their own without some kind of green light for us. It's a stretch of the imagination for anyone to believe that a single Russian SU-24 is a threat flying over the very tip of Turkey for several seconds.
ReplyDeleteFirst the Russian passengers dying on that doomed airliner, then this idiocy and now, from what I've heard, a Russian rescue chopper was brought down by Syrian 'rebels'.
Go ahead...keep it up Washington DC. Those manics will have the war they apparently want so bad. Is the economy about to collapse and they want a large scale war to blame it on? Or are they just stupid?
Commies will only stop when they aren't breathing.
DeleteThe Turks were in a no win situation. Russia repeatedly violated there airspace in spite of repeated protests by the Turks to the Russian ambassador. They really had only two choices.....bend over and let Putin do what he wanted or act. They know Putin only respects strength.....so they showed some. There is ample radar recordings and voice recordings of the SU-24's violating airspace and being warned....Turkey's acts are perfectly legal and proper. The question is why Putin would keep pushing Turkey till they had to act. Putin needs to know with certainty that there are limits....if he violates them here will be a price involved. Now we wait to see if he tries this again to see if Obozo and NATO try to tie Erdogan's hands and prevent him from defending Turkish airspace.
ReplyDeleteI'l wait for more info since anything coming out of Obama''s government is suspect.
DeleteWhat happened is cut and dried.....supported by hard evidence. The U.S., French, Brits and other forces will have access to the radar tracking records, they will ALL have heard the warnings broadcast over the universal GUARD freq. Russia was clearly violating Turk airspace. That is beyond question.
DeleteWhy Putin allowed his forces to do this and what his plans are is what is in question.
Not what the pilot says and I want to see what the black boxes have to offer.
DeleteIn its campaign against ISIL in Syria, the Russian government relied on the agreement made with NATO countries to avoid engaging in the air. Now Turkey has violated this agreement. The US scheming gov probably trying to get Putin to reveal
ReplyDeletehis unknown technology which shuts down communication in hostile adversaries.
Obama has too much blood on his hands to be allowed to remain president of America. Awaiting Putin's response. Turkey sucks. The absence of oil must be
really hurting the terrorist protector.
the agreement made with NATO countries to avoid engaging in the air.
DeleteExcellent point and considering this, they should have followed the plane until it left their air space since it wasn't posing a threat as far as I can tell. Thanks.
From Global Research: The endgame is at hand, and only the most desperate measures can hope to prevent Russia and Syria from finally securing Syria’s borders. Turkey’s provocation is just such a measure./ Despicable how low the scum flows
ReplyDeletebut I have read the true history of the real terrorists. And there is still a question mark
as rather Russia did fly into Turkey for a few seconds; Putin denies they did.
I would believe him over decades of deceit by the others.

DeleteThere was no cause for them to shoot it down. A stupid mistake.

A no-brainier.
Russia's response, should you be interested. Apparently, Turkey is lying.
ReplyDeleteYou would need to use 'CC' subtitles.

Thanks and I'd believe most anyone in the world over Obama.
