A few hours ago, Turkey decided that it would be a good idea to shoot down a Russian Su-24 near the Syrian border. It was the first time in nearly 60 years that a NATO member has shot down a Russian warplane.

DeleteI think this is plan, now Putin will hit back twice as hard, Turkey - being a part of NATO (God knows why they allowed that to happen!) - will call on the rest of NATO to come to it's aid and that will ensure that we have to get involved, then you can mark it on your calendars, the date of the start of WW III.
ReplyDeleteNever thought Putin would be on my side. I voted twice for W and roundly criticized him but I always included "But, he is on our side.". Even Carter was on our side. Lo, how the mighty have fallen.

was at war with Russia. A binding agreement between NATO and Russia.
I wouldn't blame Putin one bit if he responded with like force.
