This was on the sign at the church where we have our SCV meeting every month and the first thing I thought was "Well we must be almost there considering the state of the world these day." :)
Hi Brock, Funny you should mention that!! How many times in History, recent and Past have people said that?? Probably 2 crowning events of the last century that people would have said were a sign of the end of times were "Albert's 'Fat Boy'" and Schecklegruber's attempt to eradicate the Hebrew (Jewish) Nation as well as a not so much reported bunch of Christians!!!!!!...But the World plods on.... Go back a few cases of beer and St. Paul was another who felt the "End was Nigh!! Hell!!' 21hundred years and we're still here!!!! Little do we realize is all that has to happen is that all "Our SUN" has to do is "Hiccup" for a nanosecond and we will all be "Toast!! Never mind Hillary, Sebaz or any rag head with a AK-47!! Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Praise the Lord, pass more Ammo and a "Cold Bud Light!!!!!," III%, skybill-out PS Just also remember, "FAT BOY" brought the closure to WW-II, Adolph 86'ed himself and the rest of his ilk got their "10 minutes of Fame" dangling at the end of Sergeant Joe's "SHORT ROPE" at Nuremberg in 1946 and as far as St. Paul....His feeling that Jesus would be back in a few daze...turned into weeks, turned into years and nobody has a clue..... What more can I say.
No, but sure looks like it. This was from a 2013 meeting. Info below and thanks.
PVT BRYAN JACKSON BUCK # 1769 Peletier NC June 2013 SCV Meeting Program Our program for the SCV meeting was presented by Gary Riggs, a member of our camp.
He displayed a 2nd National, a LeMat Revolver (Army Model), a very low serial number Kenansville Sabre that was made in Wilmington, NC prior to the move of the Confederate States Armory Sabre Manufacturing Plant to Kenansville. Also displayed was a sniper rifle of the type used by Berdan's Sharp Shooters.
Mr. Riggs is a highly respected WBTS Medical Officer Reinactor. He is currently appearing at Gettysburg.
Spend some time in Emerald Isle and my guest room awaits. The beach here is superior to Ocracoke. I walk on the beach and pier every evening about 6 for an hour, then sit under the pier and have a few beers with the other bums. :)
My wife and out two girls will be going down, I would like to meet up with you and chew the fat for awhile. We seem to be of like mind. I've been following your blog for years and find it refreshing to talk to someone that understands the issues we face this day and time. I live about 20 minutes from Danville VA., the last stand for the Confederate Government. There are rumors that KGC and/or Confederate gold is still in Danville buried somewhere.
I have 5 girls :) but none are home. There is a queen bed in the guestroom and another room with bunk beds. How old are they?

Thank you and there is no need to waste money on a room as you are more than welcome here to come and go as you see fit.
