They should have shown the Angle at Gettysburg (my birthplace). Better yet the view from Seminary Ridge. Then they might have some modest appreciation of what Faulkner said "For every Southern boy fourteen years old, not once but whenever he wants it, there is the instant when it’s still not yet two oclock on that July afternoon...." I saw that look in an Iowa boy's eyes last time I was there. Saw it in the eyes of a lot of people who voted for the man now in the White House too.
