A newsletter posted on the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) campus started to make the rounds on social media Thursday. It states veterans should be banned from four-year universities. Several viewers asked 11 News to look into the origin of the newsletter.
The newsletter is titled "Social Justice Collective Weekly" and says it is the first issue. A spokesperson for UCCS said the newsletter has nothing to do with the school and does not represent the institution's views. However, it was reportedly approved by the university and posted on a bulletin board. The school says anyone is allowed to post items on the board.
On Friday, the chancellor issued a statement.

It is become clearer everyday, we are past the turning point. Attitudes like this make it clear there is no turning back. Democrats and the left have gone so far toward communism they cannot stop. And yes, I said communism, not socialism. Look at the demands and solutions. They are not socialist but communist. And like communists since the beginning, there is only one "final solution." The murder of every person that opposes their agenda. Also, I used the phrase, "final solution," intentionally. The idea that Hitler and the NAZIs of Germany were radical right wing is wrong. Instead, Hitler and the NAIZs were only an opposing communist/socialist take.
ReplyDeleteNo, we are past the turning point. Even a few of the media are finally admitting that Antifa was the aggressor. Like black lives matter they are communist soldiers. Their only goal is to destroy America. At some point either they, Antifa, BLM, or others will open fire and begin killing those they oppose, or someone being attacked will shoot in self defense. Either way once that happens, I am afraid the Second Civil War begins. I am not sure the politicians or police can or have the desire to stop the war.

As for the (official) statement given the spokesperson for UCCS, I have a one word reply (in nonstandard English): BULLS--T!!! Our institutions of what passes as high education (where the only thing that is high is the cost of attendance) do NOT those who would question and challenge what is being taught. A young vet who is maybe 4-6 years old than the average first year student and might have served one tour overseas will have a different world view. The vet will likely not the view of the professor as the all wise, and all knowing expert. I have to speculate if many of those professors, like our career politicians have ever in their lives held an actual job. I consider many of them to be over paid parasites, useless, living at the expense of the tax payer, that they hold in utter contempt.
