Social networks abhor vacuums. They fill them with conspiracies. The Las Vegas terrorist attack is a good example of this. Why would a mild mannered accountant suddenly become a terrorist? What was the motive? So far, there is no definitive evidence or explanation.
In the midst of this rampant speculation, one simple answer stands out. ISIS.
Surprisingly, ISIS immediately claimed the attack and the attacker despite the strong chance it would be immediately disproved upon investigation. They then reiterated the claim in the newsletter Naba.

The three leading theories are ISIS, leftist Trump hater seeking revenge and mental illness coupled with psychotropic drug reactions. All are possible. But two are highly improbable. It is INCREDIBLY difficult to get people to change their mentality, their belief structures, especially as they age. What are the odds that a white man in his 60's who is wealthy is going to all of a sudden embrace the stupidity that is islam.....the odds are damn near zero. Also, while there is some indication the man was an outright asshole indicating sociopathic tendencies the only drug I have seen reportedly used was Diazepam....Valium. A ubiquitous drug that has been prescribed literally to hundreds of millions of people over the years. So common that in fact the Rolling Stones referred to it as "mothers little helper" in a song. Drug induced psychosis and actions tend to be impulsive, sudden and random. This act was NONE of that. Odds of this being a result of drugs? Again, damn near zero.
ReplyDeleteAs stated...it's tough to get older people to change....and the odds are this man was a lifelong liberal dem. A man who was overjoyed when Obozo won and who was CRUSHED emotionally when Cankles lost. This kind of emotional trauma, especially in someone who already has a history of being moody, dark and at times abusive ( there are reports he was quite cruel to his GF at times) could easily push someone like this over the edge to where they make a rational choice to "DO SOMETHING". And in this case he apparently did. In reality the most likely reason for his actions is political.
The other conspiracy theories such as him being a sleeper agent or working for the CIA etc. are so bizarre they don't warrant more than a laugh.
And it's probable that the FBI and the liberal dem sheriff Lombardo are aware of ALL of this. But it doesn't serve their agenda. What they want, what they NEED is an angry right wing white male....the perfect scapegoat....with a BUTTLOAD of LEGAL GUNS involved so they can demonize both white men and guns. Paddock has given them the perfect opportunity to gain back the lost ground on guns that the left has seen dissipate over the past few years. The left is NOT GOING TO LET THIS OPPORTUNITY GET AWAY.

DeleteI took it for years to help me sleep going to and back from Vietnam, but when I realized I would have to up to 4 a night, I cut down. Once off, it took me a year to get any semblance of sleep. One now and then is OK, though.
I could accept him being the shooter and even an ISIS shooter if it were not for the 2 dozen guns and tannerite in the car. This entire thing strikes me as a good possibility that it was an FBI op gone wrong like Oklahoma city. He has past connections to the government and his aircraft has some connections to a government contractor. What if he was a FBI frontman acting as a salesman to terrorists and the plan went south as it often does when the government plans shit. See fast and furious. All of this would be highly embarrassing to the .gov departments as the word "muslim" and "we screwed up" will never leave the lips of government proto-humans.
