It's not only Marxists but also the opponents of the Marxists who are to blame. It's the two sides and the resulting policies that get passed that have resulted in the US being given away.
This is a tolerant website for alternative arguments, but most right-wing sites will not tolerate a right-wing argument for a higher minimum wage. We're told it's stereotypically left-wing to want a higher minimum wage, and that's that.
Higher minimum wage, trade protections, and less foreign/military spending would improve the middle class. Also, ending Federal Reserve Bank, other things.
In an ideal world, immigration and guest workers would be reduced instead. But that just isn't seen happening.
