If it were not for double standards the MSM would have no standards at all. But this is easy to explain; the Lefties in the MSM want to look virtuous rather than actually being virtuous. Since the latter is far more difficult to do. The MSM does consider every one who does not share their world view to be an enemy. That would be us "Deplorables" in fly over land. They have no interest on Menendez's corruption trial since is he only doing what they would have done if they had the chance to do it. However, they do have in interest in Moore's sex scandal. It is a chance to make your enemies look bad. Those who condone immoral behavior hate those who attempt to live the moral life. And since we are all flawed and can not live consistently up to our standards, ones' enemies will use any lapse in ethical/moral conduct as a weapon. Give us dirty laundry. I would not mind the MSM's bias if they were honest and admit they biased, rather than this fiction of being objective professional journalists.
