The New American Heros! GQ Names Colin Kaepernick 2017 ‘Citizen Of The Year’

A good range target, at least............:)

Well, if GQ was looking to take the most divisive stance possible then they sure hit the nail on the head.

But choosing to portray Kaepernick as a racist left-wing militant isn’t even the most questionable thing GQ did here. In their announcement declaring Kaepernick “Citizen of the Year,” GQ’s editors explain that Kaepernick wanted to work with the magazine to “reclaim the narrative of his protest.”

However, in effort to “reclaim the narrative,” GQ spoke with “a ten-person team of [Kaepernick’s] closest confidants,” including Kaepernick’s girlfriend, radio/TV personality Nessa, and anti-Trump Women’s March organizer Linda Sarsour.

Besides being an outspoken SJW, Nessa is also a blatant racist. According to former NFL linebacker Ray Lewis, a racist tweet Nessa directed at him – in which she implied that Lewis was an Uncle Tom – cost Kaepernick a job with the Baltimore Ravens.

  1. If I needed a reason to not read GQ, this is it. What exactly do they mean by "reclaim the narrative"? GQ like the NFL seems to think that if they do more of the same, the outcome will some how be different the next time they do it. Does GQ think that those who are not attending or watching the NFL games due to Kaepernick and others "protest" are going to buy a copy of GQ featuring Kaepernick on it? If that is GQ's idea of Citizen of the Year, then I have zero interest who they consider to be The New American Heroes. GQ just might itself being a fashion rag that is published quarterly instead of monthly. I do have a suggestion for GQ; look up the word "Gentleman". Kaepenrick is not one. Nor does he display any of the tradition traits of a gentleman. Now if they were to have a "Thug of the Year", he would certainty get my vote for that title.

  3. Oxymoron anyone? How can a man who despises something be the hero of it?

    Y'all have a nice day.

  4. Turd of the Year maybe, I don't read faggot men's fashion magazines so I wouldn't know if they voted him or not. I don't read Time either, so I don't know which jerk they pick for their Turd of the Year either...
