It is possible to take this as a sign of the approaching Apocalypse -
that 15% of American households own less than nothing. It is also
possible to simply observe that if you've got $10 in your pocket and no
debts then you've got more wealth that 15% of those American households.
And the way this works is that that ten buck bill means that you have
more wealth that that 15% of American households put together. We can
then go on to start chuntering about how the revolution is imminent as
the oppressed masses begin to rise up against their plutocratic
overlords. How can we allow a system to persist where the Waltons have that $100 billion derived from Walmart and yet near one sixth of us all have nothing, in aggregate?

This screed is just another variation on the call for "social justice"....the communist agenda that
ReplyDeleteTAKES from those who can and do and gives a TINY
portion to those who can't and won't while those in
control KEEP most of what they stole under the guise
of "fairness".
That %15 of America that has essentially NOTHING is in that
poor mans boat for very good reason. And the NUMBER ONE REASON is they are MORONS. They make shitty choices. They
drop out of school, they abuse substances, they get pregnant as unwed teens...in short they exhibit a massive amount of stupidity. No matter HOW hard society works roughly one in 10 people are going to be TOTAL FAILURES....and another 10 to 20% will be only marginally capable of living decently.
Because that is how the real world works.
