Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) says his fellow House Republicans "are considering" removing Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), who has announced he is retiring after this Congress.
“It’s kind of odd that he has as much power as he has,” King said in an interview with Breitbart News Tonight released Friday.
“But I do predict, and it is happening, that that power is diminishing. I also have got information that there are — I’ll say ‘members’ — I say that plurally, with knowledge, that are considering introducing a motion to vacate the chair,” King continued. “If they do that, that will throw this place into a tizzy and force the kind of election for a Speaker that may bring out someone who is a lot stronger on this.”

The "removal" should have been done long ago. Don't let the door hit you in the kiester, Rino Ryan.
ReplyDeleteYup!
DeleteHow is it the GOP members of the House cannot fine one, I repeat one, member to make a motion to vacate the chair? Ladies and gentlemen, it only take ONE to make that motion yet not a single member is willing to make the effort.
ReplyDeleteIf one were to look up the word pathetic in the dictionary it would be interesting to see how many members of the current House of Representatives would have their pictures posted.
Y'all have a nice day.
:) Really.
