Mitch McConnell: ".......will have enough votes to confirm Kavanaugh."
Senate
Republicans say that Brett Kavanaugh’s chances of confirmation have
improved because of new doubts over allegations of sexual misconduct
against the embattled Supreme Court nominee.
I firmly now believe that delaying the vote is burning up support for the Democrats is all ways. unaffiliated voters are getting to see the Republican congress as a tolerant and considering body , whether true or not the committee doesn't appear to be in a bums rush. the unaffiliated voter is getting to see Democrats in the light of day acting like the spoiled grade school dropouts they are. The more this hearing goes on the more transparent the motives and actions of the Democrats appear to be. but no matter. I would hope there are several more judges like Kavanaugh who would be willing to endure the circus that the US Senate has become. the only fix I can think of for the problems of the US Senate is to eliminate the 17th amendment to the US Constitution and rid ourselves of these self serving arrogant political asshats and get some knowledgeable into position to do the peoples business.

But can We the People believe the Turtle?
ReplyDeleteI don't see how he could possibly have 50 committed votes now, but hope I'm wrong.
DeleteHe better be correct or there go the mid terms and the election in 2020, just like Rush has said.
