The
calculus isn't complicated. Republicans can stand up to vile Democrat
smears and vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, or
they can give in and kiss their congressional majorities goodbye.
In case the election of one Donald J. Trump was not enough to compel the D.C. Republican establishment swamp creatures to wipe the muck from their eyes and see what’s happening with their own constituents, Republican voters have had enough of feckless do-nothings whose careers consist of little more than not doing everything they promised to do.

I totally agree. That said this nation is being swept toward the clashing rocks of antiquity of Cyanean. The Maelstrom of onrusing Events that is sucking down all common sense into the mindless depths of what can only be described, "as the destruction of the nation"!
ReplyDeleteWell said.
DeleteI am not sure that this will affect Jeff FLAKE one-I-ottah. He is all but out the door anyway. It might have some affect on a Democrat senator, with a thread of conscience (I know, I know), not yet ready to be replaced, but it is doubtful. Hell, Obamacare Repeal was supposedly a pretty important vote too, and yet the turncoats still did what they always do. They are voting for the bribe $$$$$$$$$, not for We the People. I suspect that Flakey will receive a nice parting gift in December, when he cleans out his desk, and packs up for home. This has gotten tooooo serious, we need a little release. A funny story perhaps, a laugh, something to lighten our thoughts. May I submit this as an antidote and stress relief:

Cheers!
:) Thanks & it's filthy lucre as it has always been. (Thank you Mother)
DeleteHere is the flipside of this post. It is always the same. We are being played by both sides. Which is true. Both sides cannot lose on Nov.6. Is it already prearranged and we are being fed the Pablum so many want to hear. It has to be one or the other or so we are led to think.

What is the truth? I have a headache from all this flipflopping. Think: Gaslighting.
Man, talk about two pathetic people. :)
DeleteI have said for several years now, "I will not vote for a democrat, but I will stay home and not vote for a RINO. I'd much rather have a democrat in that seat I know is the enemy, than a traitor republican. So it is simple. Confirm nominee Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Or my votes stay home and the republicans can go to hell. Since they are not supporting President Trump anyway, what good are they?
ReplyDeleteBadger
Some do support Trump.
