Stacey Abrams (D) on Friday conceded the Georgia governor's race after more than a week of vote counting in the state and questions about whether the race would head to a runoff election.

In an address made while surrounded by supporters Friday afternoon, Abrams said that she saw "no legal path forward" for her gubernatorial bid, adding that she would not use the legal system to attempt to "scheme" her way into office.

  1. It is hard for me to conceive how Stacy Abrams can possibly claim voter disenfranchisement or suppression of any kind. Georgia they had record votes! He was elected with a historic vote count...? Sound's like she just can't admit she lost, to herself?
