‘Not Messing Around’: Tesla CEO Files Lawsuit Against County, Local Mayor Issues Statement

FREMONT, CA - JULY 26: Damien Boozer and Paul Jacob work on the general assembly of the Tesla Model 3 at the Tesla factory in Fremont, California, on Thursday, July 26, 2018. (
“I’m not messing around. Absurd & medically irrational behavior in violation of constitutional civil liberties, moreover by *unelected* county officials with no accountability, needs to stop.”
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has filed a lawsuit against Alameda County, California, after the local public health department blocked him from resuming business at the company’s manufacturing plant in Fremont this past Friday.

The lawsuit argues that Alameda County, where Tesla’s headquarters are based, empowered itself to close businesses, under the threat of fines or jail time, that supply critical infrastructure even after deeming them as essential, according to a copy posted by Third Row Tesla on Twitter.

  1. Well Mr. Musk I can think of several counties in North Carolina that would love to give you the land to relocate your factory.

  2. I seem to remember that three or five years ago there was a bidding war between cities and even states for where Musk was to site his facilities. It all came down to tens hundreds of millions of financial incentives. How much did the taxpayers of Alameda County, and probably the CA state, give to Musk?

What is incredibly delicious about this is the left has a love affair with Musk. I wonder if now they feel betrayed? Imagine that, standing up to demand your constitutionally protected rights. How dare you!
