“Our cultural institutions are facing a moment of trial,” write the signatories of the now infamous Harper’s Letter. Despite the hysterical reactions it drew, the letter itself could not be more minimal or measured in its call for a check on “public shaming and ostracism, and the tendency to dissolve complex policy issues in a blinding moral certainty.” Last week, this warning was made tragically tangible, as friends and family grieved the loss of Mike Adams—conservative columnist, free speech activist, and gadfly professor of criminology at University of North Carolina Wilmington. A lifelong firearms enthusiast, Adams died by a gunshot wound, now confirmed to be self-inflicted.

DeleteI still do not believe it. I know how anyone's death by GSW can be made to look like a suicide. What is the precise evidence for this conclusion? This article is bereft of any facts.

DeleteThe Police have a decided lack of curiosity about Mike's death, concluding that "“no other people were in the home and foul play is not suspected.”
ReplyDeleteIn an interview on July 14 (FrontpageMag), Mike said after he retired from UNC-W, “I will continue to travel the country and speak in defense of the unborn.” HIs last tweets were about abortion:
“Abortion intentionally kills an innocent human being” and “It is wrong to intentionally kill an innocent human being.”
I guess it's all a matter of what your definition of "foul" is.
I guess though we need someone who could give a second opinion.
DeletePathological fear is truly sweeping over our Land - If you get too noisy about second opinions on any of these crimes (the covid scamdemic included), you might wind up dead, too. Many have been suicided in the last few years.
ReplyDeleteBTW-Two other conservative pundits died unexpectedly this week. Herman Cain due to "covid19"...probably got put on the ventilator and few are surviving that course of treatment. Lloyd Marcus from an unexpected heart attack (maybe using the same technique used on Andrew Breitbart-- Remember Poor little Joan Rivers getting offed for bad mouthing the Obamas.)
The Goal is clear: Cull the normal people one way or the other before the horrific election of 2020.
