Spring 2013 NC PATCON & 2nd Amendment Rally: Thursday May 2nd to Monday May 6th

The funds will be used for seating, tables, Eastern North Carolina Barbecue with all the trimmings, equipment and the tent. We would like to encourage company sponsors to donate money for this event. Any company donating $50 or more will be listed as a sponsor on the website and at the PATCON.

*The map above shows the front entrance for only those camping. As you cross the second set of cattle guards, camp to the right in the area with fruit trees alongside the fence and a fire pit in the middle.  For those coming Friday or Saturday,  use the map **below.  It shows the entrance by the graveyard and parking will be in the area of the two tobacco barns. For those coming Sunday, please park in the pastures on the left and right as you enter the front entrance

Below is a list of topics we cover in the one week course. I will be condensing it
to one day and will cover as much as possible for the PATCON. The first 5-6 hrs will be
lecture, discussion, demo and dirt drills. The last 2 hrs will be a walk through scenario.

We will need to do this on Friday because it will require all day and I do not want to impact Saturday's events. We need at least 10 participants and not more than 15.

This course was developed for military small unit field conditions. As most civilians groups
will not have support capability I  will present it with austere conditions in mind.

Cost will be $100 per person with half going to support the PATCON

Attendees should wear weather appropriate clothing and clothes they don't mind getting dirty.
Some of the program will involve alternating between being a rescuer and a casualty.

All should bring a .223/5.56 firearm with a sling to class BUT NO AMMO. They can leave 
that in their auto or campsite. If they don't own one, another rifle or replica will suffice.

      We'll be coming in Wednesday instead of Thursday for any who might like to start the campfire that night and camp. Dixie's final exam days have changed for the third time and the last two were in the space of less than 24 hours. Anything the government is in charge of is a joke. At any rate, we may have to come back Sunday night instead of Monday, but all are welcome to keep the campfire going and spend the night on Sunday. See y'all there!:)

      TCCC Class Update

      Although there is currently only a 20% chance of rain, the tent and chairs will not be set up until late morning, so in case there is inclement weather early, please bring something comfortable to sit upon. There is a covered area, but the floor consists of gravel. A notebook and pen may also be desirable. Thank you and see y'all shortly!:)

    Good morning Brock,

    I just wanted to let you know that I bought 9 tickets for the raffle that Sam put up on his blog. I want them to go to the people that attend your PatCon, have a special drawing for them, use them as a door prize, whatever you can think of.
