It is curious: Though I have spent a lifetime in journalism, I do not read a newspaper, not the New York Times nor the Washington Post nor the Wall Street Journal. Nor do I have television service.
Why? Because, having worked in that restaurant, I know better than to eat there. The foregoing media are quasi-governmental organs, predictably predictable and predictably dishonest. The truth is not in them.

Fred speaks the Truth again. I am a bit surprised he didn't say anything about the serious efforts underway to control free access to the only "place" that is speaking Truth to Power. The Internet is really Public Enemy #1 to the PTB, and they ain't happy about it at all.

I keep running across the word "nuked" as in "totally destroyed", but it's two days after I discovered several YouTube videos that seem to show the U.S. really IS getting nuked, from coast to coast! It's sure a time waster, and frustrating when five or six times so far that "nuked" in a title isn't literal. Here's one of those video URLs for anyone interested:
