A military veteran was detained but not charged by Valdosta State University police after she approached a group of protesters on campus who were walking on an American flag and took it from them.
Michelle Manhart, an Air Force veteran, said she was not planning to take the flag from the group, but she had heard about the group’s recent campus demonstrations and wanted to take action.

Valdosta was always a country town, steeped in tradition. Where did all these
ReplyDeletewalker's come from. It is suppose to be a crime to desecrate the American
flag, like prison time. Where are the Wardens. (right there arresting the veteran) I salute this veteran's valiant crusade to protect America from enemies both foreign and DOMESTIC, she being the only one.
I spent a summer in Valdosta before I went to Vietnam and enjoyed fishing in the river.
DeleteI remember you saying you had been in Valdosta before and how much
Deleteyou liked Valdosta. I thought it had something to do with while you were
in the service.
No, my first wife's grandparents lived there and they were quite close. The grandfather was on up in years, but needed to still work, but all he could find was a nightwatchman and he couldn't sleep in the day, so I felt very sorry for them.
DeleteThere were a lot of dirt poor people in these areas of the South during
Deletethis time and before. I had many friends whose families struggled.
It was the way it was and nobody questioned it. Not being able to
sleep during the day after working the nite shift will hasten ones death.

Back when men were men.

I am sure, as he was worn out all the time. Thanks.
Regarding her Playboy past, “SO THE FUCK WHAT!!!”
ReplyDeleteAll that matters is the way in which she defended (after three days)
the Flag, after three days of traitorous communist shit!!!
Those nude photos of her with the Flag are irrelevant in comparison
to her courageous act.
Where the fuck where all the supposedly tough talking male
Patriots in her AO?
You know, the asshats always running their fucking asshat
mouths.
If you declare you are III and a Patriot, and this shit went
down for three days in your AO, YOU AIN’T SHIT!!!
three days
DeleteI missed that.
I guess there is more to this story than I was aware. I thought a local student thing.
ReplyDeleteMost of the protestors were not even students. These are the groups involved in
this anti-American shindig. The police should have done their job a arrested the
protestors whom were trespassing.
CONFIRMED – According to a protest participant, members of the UNPrison Free Spirit, The New Black Panther Party, and Gatherers of Divine Souls gathered to rally for the uplifting of the black community.
Thanks for the info and do you have a link? Don't guess we should be surprised.

ReplyDeleteLocated in the 'comment' section. Supposedly she said stomp white people
instead of the flag. A group of counter protestors are suppose to show tomorrow.
I'm already over this.
A group of counter protestors are suppose to show tomorrow.
DeleteGood deal. Thanks.
What can I say. Duh. This is it.

“If your cause is racism then find some white people and walk on them,” said Manhart. “But to walk on the flag is walking on our symbol of freedom. You have the freedom to do what you are doing because of it. I’m not fighting against them. I’m fighting against the way they are going about it.”
DeleteUnf------ believable. Screw her.
Disappointing to say the least.
DeleteDon't know if your the type but I am and did.

Those cowardly rent-a-cops should be running scared after this one. The real men of Georgia now have all their faces. Might want to keep an eye on their homes too!
ReplyDeletereal men
DeleteGeorgia definitely has some.
Not saying this just to be contrarian, but the girl was wrong on every count.
ReplyDeleteThe flag belonged to the protesters. They bought it at Walmart. That makes it theirs. They can blow their noses on it, and wipe their butts on it if they want to. It is their own private property. The girl stole that flag from it's rightful owners.
There is a difference between the symbol of the flag and the physical object. Descecrating the symbol is protected free speech. Destroying the physical object is private property. There was no cause for this woman to intefere or steal that flag from its rightful owners.
In this case, her status as a veteran is meaningless. Though she and the media intend to imply that she holds some special ownership over all flags sold in the USA as a result. She does not. The law is very clear on this. Her stupidity is no valid cause for patriots to rally behind.
