New York Times best-selling author and populist conservative columnist Ann Coulter congratulated Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) after President Trump signed off on the Republicans’ omnibus spending bill that does not include a single provision from his 70-point list of pro-American immigration reforms.
In a series of online posts, Coulter told Trump he will “be impeached” after signing the spending bill ahead of the 2018 midterm elections where Republican voters are increasingly disappointed with anti-border wall, pro-immigration party leaders like House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Trump IS the deep state. His opposition has all been a manufactured PSYOP to keep the white haired (R) team chanting MAGA. One of the things that isn't being talked about are the dozen(s) of anti-gun laws in that bill that Trump knew about and signed anyway. So far he has been in no way different than a Clinton would have been--Ray
ReplyDeleteI hate to agree. President Trump's only chance is to keep his supporters energized. This bill does anything but. He had a chance to win the midterms but this is a huge step the wrong way. It is still a long time to the election. President Trump may have a rabbit or two still in his hat.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think he made a tactical error with DACA. I'd have pushed to promote DACA and make the democrats squirm. I may have never funded it, but I would have rubbed in Schumer's face. If I did fund it, I'd have the wall fully funded also. Either way would have been a win/win.

ReplyDeleteThat was tried but the Democrats would have none of it. Don't know what he was thinking.
I guess General McMaster did his swamp dirty work before he retired.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't doubt it one iota.
DeleteIn one signature, Trump just a accomplished 3 things....
ReplyDelete1. Dems will win the house.
2. Dems will win the senate.
3. Trump will be impeached before March, 2020.
I knew it was too good to be true...
Hopefully not, but if so, I pray that he may get to pick 3 more for the SC.
DeleteNo Trump won't be impeached. He is doing exactly what the Omni-party wants him to do. If They did impeach Trump they would have Mike Pence to contend with. He is an actual pro gun fiscal conservative. The very things Trump is not and never was. Trump is a RINO. We got played.--Ray
ReplyDeleteYou got played !!! I did not. I knew he was nothing more than a NY Liberal poseing as a conservative.
DeleteAnn Coulter wrote that, because he signed this terribly ridiculous spending bill, President Trump is certain to be impeached, as outraged voters react.
ReplyDeleteBut, "WHY" would President Trump be impeached?
On what grounds?
Has he committed a crime?
Merely signing legislation that voters disapprove of is not a felony, nor does it constitute malfeasance of his office.
So, how could President Trump be impeached without first having committed treason and/or blatantly violated his sacred publicly sworn oath of office to uphold and defend our divinely inspired Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic (i.e., the very same oath I swore as a soldier in our United States Army)?
I sure hope President Trump had a good reason for putting his signature on that new Congressional budget.
I'm hoping President Trump has an ace up his sleeve that we don't know anything about.
Like they say, they will bring up ad infinitum charges, however dubious, which doesn't mean he will be found guilty but will damage the administration more.

"FOR THOSE DOUBTING TRUMP DO YOUR RESEARCH!
Research the laws, the 1974 law and statutes.
It's not an official 'Federal Budget'. It's an Omnibus bill...not a Budget...He outsmarted them again...Congress basically screwed themselves by not passing a Budget...
Per the Constitution...the President must adhere to a Budget set forth by Congress and direct the expenditures as provided therein.
This is another one of those big Porkulus Bills, like they gave Obama for 8 years. This is not a Budget.
An Omnibus Spending Bill may have some 'instructions' as to how the money will be spent...but Obama ignored them. He spent the money, or didn't spend it, however he wanted to. And Congress didn't do a thing about it! Because they couldn't.
I think our President observed how this happened, year after year. He is bound to realize that those 'appropriations' for different things in these Omnibus bills are merely 'suggestions'.
So like Obama, Pres Trump can spend this money on whatever he wants to. Or not spend it.
Planned Parenthood? What if our President decided to tell the Treas Dept to 'slow-walk' that money to Planned Parenthood until the Senate gets off their ass and confirms his appointees?
Sanctuary Cities? What if our President decided to 'slow-walk' that money too...until those Sanctuary Cities assist ICE in rounding up criminal illegal aliens?
Splodey heads? From the Dems and the Enemedia? Why yes. There would be a colorful display of splodey heads.
But what could they do about it. Hah.
Our President could just say 'What! Congress should've passed a Budget.'
Again, that is why Obama never had a Budget in his Presidency, Congress did continual Omibus's and he just took the money . . . for 8 years . . . and no one seems to know where it went.
Addendum: I'm not taking credit for this, someone sent it to me and I'm sharing it with you. I don't know 'who' actually deserves the credit for putting it together.
My comment: Well, that's interesting."
Very interesting and thanks.
DeleteVery interesting, and what I've been poorly attempting to convey all along. Trump is anything but an idiot. His entire agenda has been based upon playing the democrat idiots for who, and what they actually are.
ReplyDeleteComplete losers who couldn't possibly find gainful employment otherwise, e.g., a democrat.

I am confused. When a congressional bill is signed by the President, does it not become law? Is it different if it is a spending bill? Civics classes were waaaay too long ago.
ReplyDeleteI believe the Omnibus merely combines all the separate spending bills into one.
