"It is time to Boycott Amazon. Asinine Company with a Communist Attitude"

NORMALLY, at this time, I send an email announcing the posting of another Southern Devotion Blog entry, an email advertisement for a Confederate Soldier Statue, or one of our DVD Collections from our Online Store. Not so, this time! I want to address something far more serious.

UNFORTUNATELY, I must announce the removal of ALL of our products from Amazon.com! Below my signature block is an E-mail from Amazon Services, I received on Friday, July 10th, at 9:11 PM. In the E-mail, Amazon Services mentions they are removing the Confederate Diaries Collection because they consider it "confederate flag merchandise." Amazon Services also refers me to their "Restricted Products" Policy and gives me 48 hours to comply with the remainder of my Amazon listings or loose my selling privileges.

I can't begin to express how disgusted I am regarding the removal of the products and the wide-spread removal of our beloved Confederate flag from flag poles and retailers through out the nation. Why don't they go after porn, drug paraphernalia, alcohol, smokes, Nazi flags, and terrorist promotional materials. Each of these does far more damage to our society. Makes you wonder what's next .. Confederate Statues, Monuments, Grave-sites, the Christian flag, Christian symbols, the removal of ALL Confederate historical documents, like the ones sold on DixieJunction.com, from the Internet, public schools. and Universities.

OUR ACTION .. At the moment, Amazon.com only removed our Confederate Diaries Collection, but there is no way we can comply with the rest of our items, they are based on actual historical documents. So, in protest, we have removed ALL of our items from Amazon.com. My opinion, eBay will be next. Even though it will no doubt hurt our "bottom line," from now on, ALL of our products will ONLY be available on DixieJunction.com.

MESSAGE to ALL .. I want to encourage ALL who read this email to patronize Southern businesses, like ours, before buying elsewhere. Your consideration and loyalty will help us, and others, endure the loss of sales.
