I am a racist.

That is the apparent message that we are receiving now from the mainstream media, the so-called independent news organizations and supporters of the new administration from the left of center in America because I oppose many of the policies proposed and enacted by the Obama administration. Please note that I did not reference the man’s skin color, heritage, parents or affiliations, just his policies yet that makes me, a man who does not judge anyone, a biased poorly educated Klansman in the eyes of the new era. That is a terrifying prospect, but America has sadly been here before.

Gelding Our Heroes & Distorting Our History

"A narcissistic, egotistical society and culture obsessed with immediate gratification and one that has rejected its founding principles finds it impossible to believe that a Lee or a Washington, with their towering characters and principled examples of self-denial and patriotism, could have even existed.

The typical modern, full of self and educated (he thinks) to the point of a smug, arrogant cockiness, simply cannot conceive of the selfless, heroic acts of which we read in the lives of these men, as well as so many others which have contributed to America's exceptionalism. The example of some of these heroic figures in American history necessarily causes some self-doubt among moderns regarding their own self-awarded superiority. Can't have that. Unable to measure up, it becomes easier for the modern to tear down."

Put not thy trust in IQ

General Anton Dostler

"Not that it is likely to, but the results of the IQ tests performed by an American Army psychologist at the Nuremberg Trials should put at least a slight damper on the often-heard atheist appeals to intelligence. Especially since at 121.72, the average IQs of the National Socialist leadership was more than a standard deviation higher than the 103.09 mean IQ reported for atheists:

After having formally launched JPFO’s “High Capacity Freedom” campaign (aka “High Cap Freedom”), JPFO’s Rabbi Dovid Bendory listed five reasons why you would WANT (not “need”) a high capacity ammunition magazine.

We purposely held back at that time the crucial “Sixth Reason”. It has “stand alone” significance, and is probably the most important reason for an armed citizenry to “keep and bear” significant weaponry and ammunition capacity.

It has been called the “elephant in the room” of American gun rights. Few in the Second Amendment movement are comfortable contemplating this critical issue. The matter is simple: “We the People”, as a coast to coast and border to border conglomerate, must retain the armed might to, FAILING ALL OTHER RECOURSE, overthrow our own government. It is a gut wrenching and heartbreaking option, but an option that must be potently retained for the sake of our liberty and the liberty of our descendants.

The Declaration of Independence spells out this unalienable right to revolt, and lists some of the basic reasons for which it might be exercised. Despite what the liars of the ADL and Southern Poverty Law Center might blather, this concept is not something new that has sprouted from the minds of “seditionists” and “insurrectionists” (their new code words for determined American gun owners).

The Second Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights for predominantly this purpose, to warn off tyrants.

Captain Parker,

I know you’re long since in the grave. Nevertheless, I want to thank you for that crazy, defiant, insane act of pointless resistance you committed all those years ago. I want to thank you for standing in defiance of the most powerful military force known to man alone with so few of your townsmen. That act alone, that resistance, likely was enough in itself to see you arrested, your life destroyed. You had to know you didn’t stand a chance against British bayonets and musketry, and you couldn’t have possibly known what would soon transpire because of the pure steel you displayed that day. You stood, sick with the illness that would bring you to death, staring down the British Empire, and you and your men did not falter. How fast and hard your heart must have beat. How sweaty your palms, how dry your mouth as you showed a defiant and brave front to the enemy and to your men.

And could you have known?

The Sesquicentennial Is Upon Us

As an editor at large, I get to be considerably at large and so I am in fact living these days across the Cooper River from Charleston, South Carolina. That was the place, as you may remember, where the phenomenon erroneously called the “Civil War” began some 150 years ago, and where some folks now are determined to remember what went on and some others are determined to protest whatever went on then and is going on now.

It seems to have become something of a national issue, and being in a good position to take a look at the events this spring commemorating the sesquicentennial of what they like to call “the late unpleasantness,” I thought I’d try to shed a little light amid the considerable murkiness of ignorance all around.

But first I think it’s important to remember that the secession that took place 150 years ago was in a grand old American tradition. The American “Revolution” was, in fact, a war of secession – 13 colonies breaking away from the British Empire – not a war of conquest, and most of the Founding Fathers understood that to be a given right when they created the Articles and then the Constitution.

2d Lt. Durham, Artillery, distinguished himself by conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the cost of his life above and beyond the call of duty while assigned to Battery C. 2d Lt. Durham was serving as a forward observer with Company D, 2d Battalion, 28th Infantry during a battalion reconnaissance-in-force mission.

At approximately 1015 hours contact was made with an enemy force concealed in well-camouflaged positions and fortified bunkers. 2d Lt. Durham immediately moved into an exposed position to adjust the supporting artillery fire onto the insurgents. During a brief lull in the battle he administered emergency first aid to the wounded in spite of heavy enemy sniper fire directed toward him. Moments later, as enemy units assaulted friendly positions, he learned that Company A, bearing the brunt of the attack, had lost its forward observer.

While he was moving to replace the wounded observer, the enemy detonated a Claymore mine, severely wounding him in the head and impairing his vision. In spite of the intense pain, he continued to direct the supporting artillery fire and to employ his individual weapon in support of the hard pressed infantrymen. As the enemy pressed their attack, 2d Lt. Durham called for supporting fire to be placed almost directly on his position. Twice the insurgents were driven back, leaving many dead and wounded behind.

2d Lt. Durham was then taken to a secondary defensive position. Even in his extremely weakened condition, he continued to call artillery fire onto the enemy. He refused to seek cover and instead positioned himself in a small clearing which offered a better vantage point from which to adjust the fire. Suddenly, he was severely wounded a second time by enemy machine gun fire.

As he lay on the ground near death, he saw two Viet Cong approaching, shooting the defenseless wounded men. With his last effort, 2d Lt. Durham shouted a warning to a nearby soldier who immediately killed the insurgents. 2d Lt. Durham died moments later, still grasping the radio handset. 2d Lt. Durham's gallant actions in close combat with an enemy force are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the U.S. Army.

A reluctant Col. Robert E. Lee – forced to choose between the United States and his home state Virginia – resigns his commission in the U.S. Army.

In a letter to his sister, Lee writes: “With all my devotion to the Union and the feeling of loyalty and duty of an American citizen, I have not been able to make up my mind to raise my hand against my relatives, my children, my home. I have therefore resigned my commission in the Army, and save in defense of my native State, with the sincere hope that my poor services may never be needed, I hope I may never be called on to draw my sword.”

In three days, Lee will accept command of Virginia state forces. He is destined to become general-in-chief of Confederate forces.

"To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it."

"President Obama talked to several reporters from around the country, and one of them was from a station in Texas. Apparently, Obama does not appreciate reporters who challenge him. He became a bit snippy, and at the end he scolded the reporter when he thought the interview was over.

Oh, and he’s not a big fan of Texas Governor Rick Perry."

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer Vetoes Presidential ‘Birther’ Bill

OK, Tea Party, let's go after her. "Too intrusive?" Old, bought and paid for Brewer below.

==================================================================
Gov. Jan Brewer has vetoed a bill passed by the Arizona legislature that would require presidential candidates to present their long-form birth certificates in order to get on the ballet– a maneuver that would likely keep President Barack Obama from the ballot in that state. Calling it “a bridge too far,” the governor noted that she considered the measure too intrusive on a presidential candidate’s background with little payoff.

The Obama White House: Consort of Islam

[BadEagle.com is proud to present a guest editorial by Tea Party activist Emily Bryant. We consider it an appropriate message on this first night of Passover, 2011, a warning against going back to Egypt and "slavery."]

Why are Obama and our National “Security” Advisor courting the favor of terrorists?

Denis McDonough, Deputy NSA, spoke at the ADAMS Center, an influential D.C. mosque, six weeks ago.

As per usual, mainstream media chose to keep Americans in the dark.

Imam Mohamed Magid, Executive Director of the ADAMS Center, also happens to be President of the Islamic Society of North America.

Of course, that’s not really a coincidence—since the ADAMS Center itself is an “affiliate organization” of ISNA. What is more problematic is ISNA’s role as an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood.

ISNA was convicted by a federal jury in Texas in 2008 as part of the Holy Land Foundation Trial. The documents entered into evidence against the Muslim Brotherhood—a.k.a. nearly every Islamic organization in the United States—are extensive and damning.

The State Department, prior to the Obama administration, declared ISNA a terrorist organization. The FBI and the White House were well aware by 2004 that ISNA and a host of other Islamic groups were all part of the Muslim Brotherhood.

So it is alarming to see our Deputy NSA endorsing a terrorist organization. And even more unnerving to read his speech.
