Kentucky Sheriff on Shooting Victim: 'We Are Glad That He Is White and we shouldn't have to worry about that."

Comment by Anonymous on Obama Rips Fox: ‘We’re Going to Have to Change How...

Nelson County Sheriff Ed Mattingly stated bluntly Monday that officials were “glad” that a man who was shot by a deputy was “white,” adding that though they “shouldn’t have to be worried about that,” they didn’t want “backlash or violence” due to the public being “misinformed” by the media.

In a joint press conference Monday with Bardstown Police Chief Rick McCubbin about the shooting of John Kennedy Fenwick, 25, over the weekend, Sheriff Mattingly said candidly that they couldn't help but "take notice" of the mishandling of police-involved shooting cases by media outlets and were "glad" they wouldn’t have to deal with "misinformed" backlash due to racial implications.

Charles Sumner Plays the Victim

Charles Sumner’s well-deserved injuries from Senator Preston Brook’s gutta-percha were slight according to his Capitol physician, though his condition were transformed into life-threatening when an opponent appeared and Sumner required a political edge.
Bernhard Thuersam,

Charles Sumner Plays the Victim

“The day after the [caning] attack, Senator [Henry] Wilson, of Massachusetts, denounced Brook’s action as “brutal, murderous and cowardly assault.” [Senator Andrew Pickens] Butler, who had that morning returned, retorted “You are a liar,” and Brooks soon challenged Wilson to a duel, but he declined, as did a Connecticut Congressman.

As Brooks challenged and Northern Senators and Representatives declined, the North grew restive and a young Massachusetts House member saw an opportunity. This was Anson Burlingame, an anti-slavery man ambitious to be elected to Sumner’s Senate seat, of which there had been some chance. He now made a vitriolic speech denouncing Brooks’ assault, concluding with the statement that, if challenged, he would fight.

Brooks challenged promptly, but Burlingame sought out Lewis D. Campbell, of Ohio, for help in devising an acceptance which would preserve his reputation but avert the duel. They finally picked the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, a ruse which worked. “I could not reach Canada,” Brooks later said, “without running the gauntlet of mobs and assassins, prisons and penitentiaries, bailiffs and constables . . . I might as well have been asked to fight on Boston Common.”

When Brooks asked that another place be selected for the meeting, the Northern papers spoke of his cowardice, and praised Burlingame to the skies. But they said nothing of Brooks’ renewed insistence and Burlingame’s stubborn declination to name a closer point. At length, Burlingame left Washington secretly for the Middle West, thus avoiding further danger. A few months later Brooks died.

When Sumner was carried home after the assault, Dr. Cornelius Boyle, one of the Capitol’s best-known physicians, who attended, found him suffering solely from flesh wounds. The next day Sumner told the Doctor that he had not lost a single day’s session that Congress and he wanted to go to the Senate.

But Burlingame’s comedy of dueling had a fine Massachusetts reaction; there was some talk of electing him to the Senate and Sumner’s friends grew worried. His brother arrived and began playing up the gravity of Sumner’s wounds. Articles began appearing in the Intelligencer that Sumner had had a relapse. Dr. Boyle, who was calling twice a day, never detected any sign of fever, nor a pulse beat higher than 82 and gave the Intelligencer a correction. Soon thereafter he was discharged from the case.

The anti-slavery surgeon then employed, understanding the situation, sent Sumner back to bed and published that his condition had become quite dangerous. The Senator came forth again to testify to the House Committee but soon left Washington . . . and carried his martyrdom across the seas to European spas.”

[Note: When Dr. Boyle was before the House Committee of Investigation, he was questioned by Representative Cobb as to the nature of Sumner’s injuries. “They are nothing but flesh wounds,” he answered and repeated. “How long need he be confined on account of these wounds?” Cobb continued. “His wounds do not necessarily confine him one moment,” Dr. Boyle answered. “He would have come to the Senate on Friday if I had recommended it . . . He could have come with safety, so far as his wounds are concerned . . . Mr. Sumner might have taken a carriage and driven as far as Baltimore [47 miles] on the next day without any injury.” See also New York Herald, May 25, 1856; Washington Union, May 28, June 19, 1856]

Wolf Trap – Wolf Speaks from Jail

I received the following from William Wolf, through a circuitous route, since the government has decided that he should not be allowed to communicate with me. In fact, his communicating with me has so disturbed them that they will be moving him from the Yellowstone County Detention Facility, in Billings (where the Courthouse is) to the Crossroads Correctional Center (pictured above), in Shelby, Montana, about 300 miles, and a five hour drive to the Courthouse. Also, over 200 miles from his friends in Bozeman. Rather odd, since he will have to make the 600 mile round trip for very court appearance, but, heck, it is not their money, it is ours. It is, however, the first story that I have covered where the driving time to court, at least prior to conviction, has always kept down to very reasonable –which this is not.

We had identified Ed Grey (CHS in the Criminal Complaint) as the informant for the government. The Criminal Complaint even states that he “has provided reliable information to the FBI in the past and has not been known to provide false or misleading information and some of the information has been able to be corroborated by independent investigative means.”

We can add another player, Jeff Howard, who may have known that Ed Grey was bad, or was just duped by Grey into an introduction with Wolf.

For whatever reason, wolf has yet to provide a name for the UCE (FBI Undercover Employee), though he has referred to him as “Dirty” in the following presentation of Wolf’s side of the story.

Remember, there are always at least two sides to every story. The government will always get theirs out, first, making it the Prima Facie Story, which results in premature condemnation, as explained in Thought Crimes. So, clear your head, if you have read the Criminal Complaint, and try to be objective in learning the other side of that story.

You will note that this was an FBI operation directed at enforcing firearms violations. Normally, that would be the purview of the BATF, not the FBI. Therefore, there is good reason to believe that this factor is proof of what Wolf is claiming that it was entrapment because of his political views.

And?  And.....?

A woman identified as the mother-in-law of Citizens United Foundation head Dave Bossie was cheered for disparaging remarks about immigrants during the South Carolina Freedom Summit on Saturday, the Huffington Post reported.
The woman was asked to speak during a focus group conducted by Republican pollster Frank Luntz. Footage of the event shows Luntz joking that Bossie told him he would “kick [his] butt” if he ended the session without asking her what advice she would give GOP presidential candidates in the 2016 election.
“One man, one vote. People are comin’ in this country across the borders like rats and roaches in the wood pile,” she says, drawing applause. “We’ve got a state like Minnesota that says it’s not our business to check ’em out, we just register ’em. We’ve got to get control. That’s what they need to know.”

Baking Bread in the World War I Army

Via comment by Daniel on Peter White’s presentation at the Spring 2015 PATC...

"His talk was both encouraging and demoralizing. Taking care of any one of those tasks would be a major undertaking. Simply feeding any number of people during or after an "event" will be a super bitch. MREs and Mountain House won't cut it. Here's a link I found re how a WW1 Army field bakery operated:

It's a major job just for bread and the inputs of ingredients, water, and firewood are staggering. Hard work around the clock as well. Where does all that flour and yeast and the rest keep coming from week after month after year no matter what?"

In World War I, the U.S. Army didn't have the luxury of buying bread from vendors like Rainbow or Wonder. All bread consumed by the troops had to be baked by post bakeries or the field bakery company.

The best resource for those interested in bread baking during World War I is the 1916 edition of the Manual for Army Bakers. It contains 123 pages of early Nineteenth Century baking wisdom. It's extremely detailed and expresses a modern understanding of the science of bread baking.

If you can find a copy of the manual (try eBay -- there's usually one for sale), you'll be treated to a treatise on yeast and yeast recipes, detailed specifications for baking ingredients, recipes and plenty of how-to instructions. You also get a description of the field bakery company and its equipment.

Despicable and Malevolent Old Thad Stevens

Lincoln’s devastating warfare upon the American South was followed by the brutal military-occupation regimes of Pennsylvanian Thaddeus Stevens and his Radical Republicans.  The seeds of today’s continuing racial hostility can be found there.
Bernhard Thuersam,

Despicable and Malevolent Old Thad Stevens

“[M]y first recollections of the social and political life of our little village of five hundred inhabitants are all set in a sense of mystery and uncanny terror. A dreaded name was on every man’s lips—“Old Thad Stevens.”

Lest it be thought that I am giving a prejudiced Southern record of this strange old man and his character, I quote a sentence from The Epic of America by James Truslow Adams, the greatest historian our nation has yet produced, a scholar of Northern birth and training. On page 275 Mr. Adams says:

“Unfortunately, on Lee’s dash into Pennsylvania, the iron-works of a man whose one idea had been to get rich quickly were destroyed. They belonged to Thaddeus Stevens, perhaps the most despicable, malevolent and morally deformed character who has ever risen to high power in America.”

A man from our county went to Washington to ask of President Johnson the pardon of a friend who was still a political prisoner. Johnson had declined to interfere. He learned that the President had been stripped of all power by the Radical bloc in Congress headed by Thaddeus Stevens. He must see Stevens and present his petition to the Dictator, the real ruler of America . . . And on the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, whom he loathed, this malevolent outcast had suddenly become master of the nation, determined to destroy Lincoln’s plan of Reconstruction and enforce one of his own, inspired by his black mistress.

Steven’s plan was as simple as Lincoln’s but as different as night from day. He declared the Southern States conquered territory and subject only to the will of the conqueror. He proposed to stamp out the white race of the South from the face of the earth and make their States into [Negro] territories. To this end, two years after the close of the war, he destroyed the Union, wiped out the Southern states, established five military districts instead of the eleven old commonwealths, took the ballot from the white leaders of the South, enfranchised the whole Negro race and set them to rule over their former masters. And this at a time when the people were in a life and death struggle to prevent famine.

Mr. Stevens thus paralyzed every industry of the South, turned every Negro from the field to the political hustings and transformed eleven peaceful States into hells of anarchy. His fanatical followers, blinded by passion, deliberately armed a million ignorant Negroes and thrust them into conflict with the proud half-starved white men of the South. Such a deed can never be undone. It fixed the status of these two races in America for a thousand years.”

North Korea executes defence chief with an anti-aircraft gun: South Korea agency

North Korea executed its defence chief by putting him in front of an anti-aircraft gun at a firing range, Seoul's National Intelligence Service told lawmakers, which would be the latest in a series of high-level purges since Kim Jong Un took charge.

Hyon Yong Chol, who headed the isolated nuclear-capable country's military, was charged with treason, including disobeying Kim and falling asleep during an event at which North Korea's young leader was present, according to South Korean lawmakers briefed in a closed-door meeting with the spy agency on Wednesday.

His execution was watched by hundreds of people, according to NIS intelligence shared with lawmakers.

It was not clear how the NIS obtained the information and it is not possible to independently verify such reports from within secretive North Korea.

The Vaccinate All Children Act of 2015: Bill Seeks to Blackmail States into Full Compliance

Via Bill

A Florida Congresswoman has introduced legislation that will send chills down the spine of any liberty-loving American.

On May 1, Frederica S. Wilson (D-FL-24) presented H.R.2232 – Vaccinate All Children Act of 2015.

From the bill:

REQUIREMENT.—For a State or a political subdivision or other public entity of a State to be eligible to receive a grant under this section, the applicant shall demonstrate to the Secretary’s satisfaction that, subject to paragraphs (2) and (3), the State requires each student enrolled in one of the State’s public elementary schools or public secondary schools to be vaccinated in accordance with the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

That’s right. Wilson wants to require children who attend public schools to receive every shot on the CDC recommended vaccine schedule.

House authorizes NSA mass surveillance program

Via Terry

On May 13, the U.S. House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly, 338 to 88, to adopt H.R. 2048, the so-called “USA Freedom Act,” that promises, in section 501, to include a “Prohibition on bulk collection” by the National Security Agency (NSA).

Ahead of the vote, the White House — a strong supporter of the agency’s mass surveillance program it has said is vital to security — issued a statement in favor of the legislation, promising that it would “enhance privacy and better safeguard our civil liberties, while keeping our nation safe.”

There is only one problem.

In truly Orwellian fashion, the bill does exactly the opposite, Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) warned in a Facebook post to his constituents.

“H.R. 2048 actually expands the statutory basis for the large-scale collection of most data,” Amash wrote in opposition to the bill hours before the vote.

Military Convoy with Microwave Weapons Seen in Preparation for Jade Helm

Microwave weapons in transit for Jade Helm 15.

An All News Pipeline reader has emailed us the photograph above as well as the 1st video below which show a US military convoy with microwave weapons units taking a break while heading west on I-80 near Reno, Nevada. These units are used by the military as a non-lethal method of crowd control according to Extreme Tech, causing a tremendous amount of pain to those who the weapon is used against and making the skin burn’ from the inside out, though said to cause no permanent injuries. This is just the latest sighting by everyday Americans across the country that provides us with more proof of huge preparation for some kind of an ‘event’ by the US military that looks more and more as being preparation for crowd control and civil unrest in America for when the economy completes its’ tumble, leaving the US a 3rd world nation.

Sister Diana Momeka: ISIS Commits 'Cultural and Human Genocide' in Iraq

An Iraqi nun initially denied a visa to testify before Congress —  before the White House caved in to a wave of outrage —  told lawmakers Wednesday that Islamic State (ISIS) jihadists are committing "cultural and human genocide" by persecuting Iraqi Christians.

Sister Diana Momeka of the Dominican Sisters of Saint Catherine of Siena, speaking before the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said ISIS' plan is to "evacuate the land of Christians and wipe the earth clean of any evidence that we ever existed."

"This is cultural and human genocide," she declared. "The only Christians that
remain in the Plain of Nineveh are those who are held as hostages."

Her remarks were posted by the Christian News Wire and broadcast by C-Span.

AFRICA'S COMMANDOS: The Rhodesian Light Infantry from Border Control to Airborne Strike Force

Via Nancy,204,203,200_.jpg

Expensive at the present, but highly recommended.

The RLI ... killing machine extraordinaire

Few, if any, regiments have left their mark on the history of modern warfare as did the Rhodesian Light Infantry. Raised on 1 February 1961 the RLI first evolved into a commando unit then became involved in mundane border-control duties in the Zambezi Valley. Later as the bush war intensified the RLI was to evolve into a ruthlessly efficient 'killing machine'. This book chronicles the military evolution of the RLI from the peacetime soldiering days through to the constant high-intensity combat of the final years.

Obama Rips Fox: ‘We’re Going to Have to Change How the Media Reports’

Doesn't look very healthy.  Such a shame........

For going on seven years we have learned three things about President Obama: 1) He loves the poor so much he continues to create more of them. 2) He loves the poor so much he does everything in his power to keep them poor. 3) He doesn’t see the opposition as loyal, but as bad players — his enemy. This is especially true of Fox News, which Obama ripped as anti-poor bigots during a Wednesday afternoon summit on poverty.

We’re used to this Obama, the forever-partisan who has never seen himself as president of all the people but only of those who worship him.

What was most revealing about the president’s comments was his expressed desire to “change how the media reports.”

Speaking of Fox News, the poor, and the way GOP leaders think, Obama said, [W]e’re going to have to change how our body politic thinks, which means we’re going to have to change how the media reports on these issues.”
